Remus92
Just got a 95 pathfinder today.... I had been lurking here for a couple weeks prior to going and getting it. I was looking for a pathy last year but never found one (i could afford) until this fall. I got mine for 1000 bucks from a used dealer. It needs some TLC but I'm excited to play around with it. Other vehicles I own... 86 Nissan 300zx, VG30 auto N/A 94 Olds 88, GM 3.8 And now the pathy! Probably going to ditch the Oldsmobubble sometime soon as 5 vehicles in our driveway is a little ridiculous! Plans for the pathfinder are (at this point)... Fix rust... Frame and body Exhaust manifolds are leaking May look into an undercoating once the rust is taken care of. Random interior stuff Bend back the front bumper and get a new rear bumper... there is more rust then bumper left! lol Its got a CEL to check out Pretty excited to play with this thing! Hopefully the progress of working on it doesn't start slowing down the colder it gets... Like with my Z! I get working on it, then it gets cold and sits in the garage until spring and I start playing with it some more. Pics Pretty Dusty! It is maroon with grey interior and going to need some cleaning up! And recent pic of my Z as well.
teixeira
Looks like you'll have some work to do with it. I like the Z, nice.
Precise1
Hello and welcome! Congrats on finally getting your pathy too. If you own a Z you are already familiar with the powerplant and how little you should need to do to it. One thing you need to make sure is dealt with if it hasn't been done is the timing belt. Don't put it off if you aren't sure when it was last done! B
adamzan
Looks like it needs quite a bit of body work! Ive certainly been there before lol. Check out your front floorboards and under the back seats, chances are if the outside has that much rust there could be some holes that need patching. Would love to see pics of that frame, I've seen some pretty bad ones get resurrected which is nice instead of seeing them scrapped.

Leo94
It looks like if you were to remove the front number plate holder it would be making kissy lips

Slartibartfast
With the bumpers rotted clear though, I too am morbidly curious about the frame. It should be a change of pace from your Z.
Remus92
With the bumpers rotted clear though, I too am morbidly curious about the frame. It should be a change of pace from your Z. 2 spots in the frame that need attention. The first is right in front of the rear passenger tire. Slight hole along 12 inches or so. The material is all pretty solid should be easy to patch. The second is about 5 inches after the rear driver tire... pretty eaten up but I don't think it will be too bad seeing as how it isnt supporting weight just the bumper and the hitch that I so far have no use for! I would jack it up and check above both rear tires...with it up in the air you can get a clear view of the frame. If the areas you mentioned are infected with rust I would be surprised if that area of the frame was intact. Welcome to the club
