THERA
I own a 1991. 4x4 6cylinder. I cant figure out what is wrong with it. Please HELP! I start it up and let is run for a few minutes. The put it in drive. When I gas, its almost as f its starving. Like its going to die. Then its as if it just kicks in and is fine. Then when I am driving and slow down at all or stop to speed up is a joke. Like it cant pull its own weight. Ive changed plugs, wires, fuel pump, filters, starter blah blah blah . the tank and lines are clean. i dont know what else to look for or who to ask. My last guess would be bad valve. but i was hoping its not. please help me!!!!! Thera Edited March 9, 2009 by THERA

THERA
timing belt was replaced last spring. so the timing is good. it almost dies when its cold. but still no "go" power when its warm. it doesnt try to die when ive been driving it just doesnt go or pull. the o2 sensor was changed last sping also. the cat was replaced last october. other then these things i dont know what else to do. nige
try unplugging the o2 sensor and see if the driveability improves. If it does, that is your culprit.
