beastpath Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 (edited) So yesterday I noticed my steering gear had a small puddle of power steering fluid under it. Where the gear meets the pitman arm is nice and wet too. There is probably a drip every 20 mins or so. Filled my steering fluid reservoir up again, but obviously that's only a temporary solution. should i purchase a new/used one? Can I just replace by removing the drivers side wheel and working from there? Or are these things re-buildable? If so, is it worth it to rebuild, are there kits, and how long would it take? It gradually got bad enough that the fluid would actually pour out faster than I could pour it in.
