Very cool, but whats the difference between taking the hunk of plastic to a machinist vs the original part, forgetting the $$$ you just forked out. :shrug:

 

I'd prefer this :lol:

I'm assuming this is a stereo lithography machine or an ink jet type build up process? Concept models are very handy to pass around meetings so idiot managers with little technical ability can say they were 'hands on' at it's conception...

Yep, too bad so little of it is done by humans. Cad, Cam, 5 axis Machine...

Matsuura makes great equipment, like several others in the field.

Well for scale modelers (like Me :D ) will be very useful to made plastics parts from models that do not exist i will made from

Plasticine or play doh toys and "plastify"
