I'm assuming this is a stereo lithography machine or an ink jet type build up process? Concept models are very handy to pass around meetings so idiot managers with little technical ability can say they were 'hands on' at it's conception... *maybe off mark, couldn't load video* Long vid, but DAMN COOL Yep, too bad so little of it is done by humans.
