beastpath
Just recently my truck has been taking a long time to start, im talking 10 turnovers or so. But this is intermittant, occasionally it will start in 2-3. Thought it might have been my starter, had it checked and its fine. Any ideas of what else it could be? Kittamaru
battery/alternator possibly. Also visually check your wiring and play with your ground connections. Maybe the TPS? Though I'm sure someone more experienced than I could tell yea/nea on that:)
94extreme
yeah, check your wiring and your grounding. sounds like a week battery or the connections to it.
Precise1
Coil, dizzy, cap, rotor, timing, plug wires, spark plugs, fuel pressure regulator, battery, ground, etc. A lot of little things can do that but most are easy to check. When was the last tune up? B
Simon
Try this..... Turn the key to the on position....wait for the fuel pump to stop, then turn the key to the start position. If it starts quickly (normally) then you've got a leak in the fuel system somewhere that's not allowing the truck to retain the fuel pressure when the pump is off. I had that issue on my old truck. beastpath
hmmm. last tune was bout 6 months ago. New everything. Ill scrape up the battery connectors tomorowz and see if that helps, and try the fuel pump thing.

adamzan
I had this same problem a while back. Changing my fuel filter solved it.
