tecciball
this is probably a dumb question, but it is the coils that give you the lift, right? not the struts/shocks...

a32
define noises, you shouldnt be asking me, mine has 200k on it and its 10 yrs old lol. Well when my Maxima was lowered on springs/struts it would make metal rattling noises when going over bumps (fortunately I switched over to coilovers that let me get even lower while being silent), I'm just wondering if lifting creates suspension noises when going over bumps like lowering sometimes does. I know...real noob question
nissandoms47
oh well when you first install the springs the struts will top out but its not that big of a deal, they just need to settle a bit.
turbopath
Your experience with the maxima is entirely different. Lowering springs would probably make that noise on the pathfinder too. (Although they do sell these little sleeves to jam in there). Almost every lowering coil I've seen that actually has a decent drop will clang. The pathfinder lift coils ensures that they stay further apart.

Any suspension noises? my lift made my pathy drive a bit more 'truck like', less cushy... but took no time to get used to. I also had issues with topping out, going over speed bumps and stuff, just gotta take em a bit slower, and all is good.
dwrounds
I just ordered my AC lift with Bilstein and KYB. I am pretty stoked! I will post picks as soon as I have it installed, may be a couple weeks.

That's good to hear, the suspension noises on my old suspension setup got old quick, sounded like my car was falling apart going over bumps...and a hard ride is something I've grown used to with lowered cars, can't wait to lift the pathy (and get some decent rubber)
