  1. Two here mine and the X ( a wanna be old skool pathy ) we off- & on- road both
  2. I could be wrong about this - but if you find the right body shop, they will take the $$ that the insurance company would give them to fix the stock bumper, and apply it to ordering you an aftermarket version... ???
  3. Damn, sorry to hear about that. I have heard it recommended that you do go to the doctor, just in case, as you may not feel it now, but you may later, when it's too late. Adreneline & crap right... ?? Pathy doesnt look too bad, but I know when I smashed mine up, it was painful to see. Hope everything turns out ok with insurance, body shop and getting it back soon!
  4. A brush guard isnt going to help you much against a deer. This, however will: but it aint cheap: linky
  5. Vengeful's thread: (incl info about two unhappy buyers) http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=6308 Slick's thread: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=6336
  6. you say that like it's a hard thing to do?? *giggle*
  7. It wasnt that bad... Dowser did a lot of crashing & banging, but we had noticed his T-bar anchors were not inset and hidden like they should be, and I'm sure they got hit a few times... The same thing happened to us in the X back in May... we ended up going home from Minden with CAA.
  8. ... yeah... I'm thinking you managed to smack one of those T-bar anchors...
  9. ... my crosser bars are plastic, but my factory roof rack is not the same as that 2003 version you are looking at.
  10. I wont wheel with him as TB... I send him to TB someone else!
  11. funny enough though, my passenger side is way worse than the driver side. :X
  12. I'm guessing the mounts on the R-50 are no where the same as the older pathys: pics of my install: http://www.muddynissan.com/photos/pathy_tjm/
  13. Awesome guys - thanks for all the info & input!
  14. *add another vote for blackpanther!* unfortunately, if you do any trails in the bush/forest, youre going to have to get used to some pinstriping. It pains me every time I hear the eeeeeeeeeee.... of a branch down the side of my truck, but I have to learn to live with it if I want to wheel.
  15. I have this one: http://www.durhamradio.com/s/product.php?p...cat=1695&page=3 which also allows for a PA
  16. heh.. a little late now!! Welcome back to this board again!
  17. I'll second (third) that... I was suprised it didnt, as there is tow points on the TJM for the Xterra... Although they say for that (and the ARB, too) you're not "supposed" to tow/recover from them. But I guess thats how they cover their a$$ incase someone has problems, smit happens, and tries to sue.
  18. lmao... we have one in both trucks, mine's in the front grill, and on the X, it's in the roof basket. WE have fun confusing people in parking lots & in traffic with it - although I will admit the hubby uses it a lot more than I do - I'm always afraid someone's gonna snap & come at the pathy with a baseball bat. But it's nice to use on the trail when people are messing around outside the trucks and it's go time!
  19. *falls asleep waiting* It's better now that it was this afternoon.

wow, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you are doing ok. It must be quite a shock. **best wishes for his family** That's very sad to hear.
  21. Well, I was going to buy you one for christmas, and so you'll finally forgive me for stealing yours, but since you're gonna be that way - I've changed my mind.
