Must you be so difficult Luker... ?? wanna dumb it down for those of us who dont understand what it will do to the truck?

For some reason - I cant respond to your poll.. and seeing as Itook the time to write you a mini novella, I wanted to post it (DAMMIT!!) --------------------------------------------------------------- Well, you didnt include my faves... Green, which I have, and blue, which I am a big fan of. But - given the above choices... I dont know what I would pick. Burgandy - I'd say no to, only becuase you already have a burgandy car - but hey - if you like it why not! Kind of a medium dark colour, so some maintence required if youre fussy about the spots on your truck. White - Personally, I've never liked white cars/trucks. (although - I really like the look of 88's truck.. so what do I know!) But they are said to hide road filth well (and "pin striping" from offroading too I assume?) Black - I like, but they're a PITA to keep clean, and if you offroad it will show the pin striping big time. If youre a fan of waxing & buffing your truck - all the power to ya! (or if you just dont really car if it looks clean) Black cars look better in the shade Silver - I also like, and not long ago would have concidered, but every 3rd car out there these days is silver. Pros - see white. Tan - ??? Dunno... dont see all that many tan ones around here... I would assume they hide regular road grime ok... Pretty much, I when I was pathy shopping it was about finding the right truck, colour was somewhat secondary. When I found a great truck, in good condition, low milage, great price I was sold - the colour was a bonus.

I suppose I COULD be nice... what's it worth to ya??? And what are you doing Sunday Oct 23rd?

I believe the ARB Air Locker is really our only choice...

I suppose it's worth a try, however I tend to doubt they would... I think all the hitches rust somewhat.... you might find yourself taking it off to clean up & repaint...

Very true... although pathys are not rare here, people who wheel them are. I have the odd R50 owner take a second look at my truck, mainly I assume as they were wondering wtf happened to my bumper. hahaha... Most of the people in SOXC sport the club sticker, so anytime I see an X, I have to take a look and see if they have one... and I'll do the same now with pathys, even though chances are good I'll never see another NPORA member, or a Pathy sporting the SOXC sticker. When I'm driving the X, I wave to other Xterra owners, and a few wave back, mostly the attention loving whores.. I mean Yellow Xterra drivers... lmao. I dont wave to other pathy's, as sadly most of their owners just dont get it. I was at a light yesterday, and I was probably the only one in the world that though HEY COOL! When I noticed that beside me was an '05 pathy, and on the other side of the '05 was a WD21. *Shrug* Some pathy's owners... I dunno!

Voted "havent put the wrench down" as well, I cant crank T-bars on my truck... heh... and I do still have a few mods to do. When we got the truck, it was going to stay stock, and the Xterra was getting all the attention. NO FAIR! Pezzy wants to play too... I was on this board for a few months before we lifted the pathy - but it wasnt because of the board I did it. It was the actual experience. We werent planning on doing anything to the truck until maybe next year, but when we went tire shopping for the X, I asked about what kind of a deal wthy would give us if we bought 2 sets, as I was going to be looking into AT's for this winter as the stock tires would be done by now... Then came everything else, as if you're going to buy tires, and soon lift it, you might as well lift it now, and buy the right tires now... um ok, twist my runner arm. The bumper was just good timing, and for the 6384th time - sorry vengeful. The CB & rack I already had for camping & convoys with SOXC... and everything else is just toys!!

OR99.5 - There are 6" lifts in Japan, which no one stateside has tried AFAIK.... I believe L&P Performance were looking into getting into 3" & 6" lifts... but I havent heard anything about any of that getting off the ground yet. Looks like youre stuck with a 2".

Well, if you do end up going with AC, I had absolutely no problems getting the lift for my pathy... it was shipped out & was here (Canada) within a week...
