  1. Your light should go out after a couple mins of regular driving once you put it back in 2wd... you dont have to reverse to unlock the hubs or anything (I know they have to do this in the Xterras)... I dont recall for sure - but I believe you should be good in 4hi @ 40mph... I think I keep it under 60km/h - which is roughly the same.

    CB Range?

It's not usual that we would get reception anywhere quite that far - usually the farthest is about 6 miles... We have had days we've heard people in Georgia though... Thats on a Uniden 520 Pro - I have a K40 antenna, and my hubby has a 8 foot whip on the X...
  3. Raise your hand if you understood that comment... YOu are sooo canadian!! I actually met Mr. Dress up when I won a scholarship in college... anywho... back on (off) topic...

    Got Mud ?

We have a "GOT SNOW?" sticker on the X... imagine that he's CRAZ4SNO... heh...
  5. Give ebay a whirl for switches...
  6. *tries again* Nice of you to join us in this corner over here Precise, you fit right in!
  7. I dont know any actual specs, but I noticed only a slight change in how the truck handles when we lifted it & added bigger tires... I havent noticed much change when it comes to cornering, however - I do tend to take corners slower regardless. Compared to driving the lifted X (3" suspension lift) I hardly notice it lean into corners... I really feel it in the Xterra. weeeeeee! eek! The biggest change when we lifted the pathy was the overall feel. The ride isnt as 'cushy' as it was before, and I have to slow down (more) for pot holes & speed bumps so the struts dont top out. I think (and someone add or correct me here - as I am not entirely sure) you would notice a lot more body roll if your swaybars are disconnected/removed. I still have mine on.
  8. Congrats! Looking forward to seeing pics!
  9. hah.. here the Revos were a lot more than the BFG's... alllrighty then. Well it's another option - price them both out!
  10. sounds decent... however I suppose that depends where you are, and what the average price is that they are going for... and the overall shape of the truck...

  12. An official apology to Precise1, NPORA Moderator Dear Precise1, I would like to take a moment to thank you for saving Miguel's Xterra thread from the rantings and runnings on that occurred not long after he started the thread. I admit I was part of this tomfoolery, and should have known better, but I felt my peace had to be said. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to split the topic off, and for saving Miguel's thread. On that note, I also would like to apologize for trying to evoke humour in my sarcasm by my comments yesterday. It is wrong for me to assume you understand my odd sense of humour. I made an assumption that for a moment you were just like the rest of us NPORA slaves, and that we could kid around about who might be a deranged individual. I in no way meant it to be a personal attack or an insult. I am sorry that I have crossed this moderator/non-moderator line. I hope that we can continue to post in the same forum peacefully. Sincerely, Pezzy.
  13. May I introduce you to the BFG A/T KO? Decent price, good tire.
  14. sorry - I forgot my "[/sarcasm]" as in - who uses Netscape anyway??
  15. What is the "NETSCAPE" thing you speak of? :X
  16. name calling is moderating eh? nice.
  17. I got the lift for my pathy from them - had no problems - they shipped to Canada pretty fast too!
  18. hmmm.. I havent heard many problems with them on SOXC...
  19. Congrats on your choice of tires & wheels, I'm sure you'll enjoy them. As for CAPS & YELLING, Luker is right, I was actually taught in a design class that ALL CAPS is harder to read as the letters do not flow into one another as well as regular case letters do. Because of this people will tend to pass it by if there is too much used. It is good however if you want to put EMPHASIS on certain words. Cheers!
  20. and youre afraid. uh huh... how am I supposed to feel?
