  1. The job is simple mate , X 2 as everyone else has said . The auto will pump the ATF around the system good enough to cool it right and if not try a fan on the cooler . As for winter time you could run a small section of brass line closer to the exhaust system to help with warming the ATF up .
  2. They seem to be popular with touring patrols and crusiers here in OZ , and have only heard 2 stories of them snapping in half but our corrigations are pretty nasty and thats loaded with touring gear . Have been offroad in a Toyota Prado with OME and is simalar in size to a pathy and it was a nice ride . :02: The roads over thier must be good if you don't need a stabiliser ?
  3. Z24 powered 5 speed manual and from 79k to 240k flogged it bad and now it's for sale ( apparently to a VIC bloke ) and with just at the end ( before 3.8ltr auto conv ) the 5th gear just started to jump out .
  4. Where do you get an ARB air locker for the front of a WD21 . Mines a 6 bolt flange and here in OZ can't help me ( or don't want to ) .
  5. X2 If you can't replace the bent part.
  6. Awesome in depth write up mate , love your work .
  7. Man , you've got some serious work time ahead of you and i'm sure you will turn it into something AWESOME .
  8. They look the same as my Staun Tyre Deflators , have been using them for about 3 years now and glad i paid A$70 for them . Have mine set at 12psi and i Love them . Make life very easy for dropping pressures for beach or bush . For example : Pull up at the servo ( 1/2 klm from beach ) screw them on and walk inside to get pilchards ( bait ) , pay then return to car unsrew Deflators and straight up the beach . Have made my life much easier and now my mates have also bought them . So were either lazy or can't count that good . lol.
  9. Terrano NZ is spot on with this .
  10. Mate mines a 92 and i've managed 70ltrs in it . and no fuel light for me .
  11. 6061 should be good and from memory their is 10 blocks . There's 7 No: like ( 6061627 ) do you know the other No: Some had bolts and nyloc nuts and a couple with finer thread screwed up into the bodies thread . When i did mine i took the bolts to the high tensile shop and asked for the same just longer .
  12. Mines blue too . With Chevy Orange and Black Bits .
  13. Awesome Mate , Welldone on the fab work and using your imagination .
  14. Yeh Mate , thats all it is but i'm not sure on the grade . If you can get 6061 or 6063 , or possibly in the 5000 series which is for marine use but deffinatly not the 1000 series as it's to soft . Can ask the tech advisors at work for you or maybe someone on this forum would know more about alloy composites .
  15. Howdy Dave , have taken a pic of the body lift for you , it 2'' high by 2'' round solid Billet Alloy and the only extra is the engraved logo .
  16. G'Day Dave , Just a thought mate that if your boots are torn and you can get AVM hubs ( which are awesome ) why not get your boots done to elimanate any more damage to the CV's and why thier getting done do the hubs and re-grease the bearings just to be sure . Have you had a look at the Snake Racing ( Billet Alloy ) body lift ?
  17. Congrats on the job so far , as it can be a trying time when doing a custom engine conversion . Trying to make everything fit can be a massive headache bit a few can always help . Have you got outside help or are you winging it on your own ? And if you've got more pics .
