LSV? what is that for? I mean I guess it should be obvious by the name, but I have no clue as to why it would need to be adjusted. -

Cruise control and speed sensor = a good team! Hmm. my freind had a problem like this. He took it to a shop and they putin a sensor from a different model! How stupid people can be!

how about now? (post 200! woo woo!)

He said he is gonna do it today, so hopefully all goes well.

Haha, Yea, it's dirt. I don't have a splash guard, and haven't had a chance to clean up after my last wheeling run. Don't hate me! And about the window. I say for us VG33 guys, it doesn't matter, because even with nothing on, it's still a challenge to get to the damn filter. A window n the skid would just hinder this even more, and we would remove the skid anyway. So I say to just forget the window, or keep if for the VQ setup. The VG won't matter. Jose

Hope this helps! Jose

Few Questions, Custom Tire Carrier, Adjustable shocks etc.
180sx replied to sherwood's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Bumper: Do like pezzy and have one custom made. Lift: Your rancho shocks should be fine. I can't tell you from personal experiance, but from what i've heard their fine. Also, check the sticky topics to read more on lifting. Steering. You'll be fine. Backspacing. no more than 4". other: get some warn manual hubs to be on the safe side and releive your CV's a bit. Jose -
Sorry, didn;t get a chance to get under the pathy today. Just got home (1030 at night here). Maybe tomorrow morning. Tekaz, did you get your relo kit done yet? I wanna see that!
-
well, its on the driver's side, up towards the front. I don't have a picture here at work, but if no one beats me to it i can get one up when i get home.
-
I Have to agree. Get some 4" spacers on that rig on top of some lift springs! May have to extend the driveshaft about an inch, but whats that, anyway. Go Big or Go Home! You can go ahead and get the HD's, but be weary of hospital visits due to bleeding kidney's!
-
Yea, i wasn't saying they should only go on Pathy's with bumbers and winch. hell, I'm going to get HD's for mine. But I'm saying that for a non-4WD, they seem to be a bit over kill. I mean, at least with 4WD, yoou have the front diff and all that adding weight over the 2WD. Jose
-
2WD? Hmmm...this would have been nice for Fueler to know in the begining of this topic. So, since you do not have the limiting factor of the CV axles, you can jack that thing up. Too high and then you have your drive shaft to worry about (about 5~6" if I remember from what Alex was telling me with his SFD). Now, the question I have is why do you want HD springs if your only 2WD? These springs are recomended only for Pathy's with a bumper and winch up front, and thats with 4WD, meaning theres all those components up there, too, adding weight. With 2WD stock, you'd feel like your on steel rods. Just wondering. Jose

Yea, engine upgrades? Take a look at old Z31 300ZX's!!
-
those are some nice ass wheels...mind if i copy you and get a set?
-
Two nuts? like right on top of each other? Hmm...I wonder how that works. I also blame my incident on the strut mounts. The holes were getting worn out, effectively becoming Slots...haha.

Max tire size VS Lift Kit Used VS Custom or OE Wheels
180sx replied to fleurys's topic in R50 FAQ's & Pinned Topics
well, considering stock is 235/75-R15 I would say stay around that size. I don't know the BS of that rim, or how wide it is (I assume 15x6) so I would say get a 245/75-R15. -
haha. that happned to me before too! Well, not as bad. The top nut on the shaft broke off. But my spring was just like that! I had to drive backwards to keep the wheel from falling out!!! Luckily i wasn't on a bad trail (no rocks and stuff)

whats wrong with the ebc's? dimpled rotors are actually stronger than crossdrilled. I would prefer the EBC's IMO.
