  1. Are there any 15" Nissan wheels that will fit my 2000 LE. ?? How will this affect my spedometer?? thanks
  2. As I am the 2-3rd owner, I don't know if either of these sensors have been changed. What else would I rather be doing now that it looks like spring has arrived than spend a day under the hood... Thanks
  3. So what you guys are saying is that a) I may have a fault code for no apparent reason, and changing the o2 sensor may not solve the problem ?? Any other nice surprises I should get ready for ?? Thanks
  4. Ok, I found out I need the post cat 02 sensor and upon looking at 1- 2 parts places there appear to be too many choices . What about bosch, nkg ?? There are these "Relacement " brand ones that are like soo inexpensive. What brand would you recommend and why?? thanks again
  5. SES light on- 2000 SE stock. P0138 says 02 Senosor - Sensor 2 Bank 1 Where is this critter ?? Do I need to change it ASAP ( it's been over a week) P0132 - Knock Sensor - Sensor 1 Bank 1 Same questions. Could this code be linked to the first one ?? Is it a matter of replacing the o2 sensor & away we go or is there some " reprogrmming" needed somwhere ?? I've read other posts on fault codes but I'm not 100% sure on what to do about these. Many thanks. joseph
  6. Looks like I have more options now. Thx.
  7. How far back (or forward for that matter) can I go in model years to find compatable engine parts, body / interior parts and wheels for my 2000.?? I did some scrounging at a wreckers yesterday looking for a 2nd set of wheels but I'm not sure what goes with what. thanks
  8. OK, guess thats all I need to know. Thanks
  9. Anyone have any experience with this product or any other type of fuel saver mod.??? Is this one of those too good to be things ??
  10. Ok , I did the change last nite. M-E-S-S-Y !!! Who thought of putting the oil filter in such an "accessible" place. Anyhow, splash plate had one plate screw broken off. Other than that it was fine.
  11. So whats your point?? I'm not tooo thrilled about crawling under any vehicle when the temp. is in the low -20 & 30's.
  12. It's plastic !!!!! I thought it would be at least some type of metal..
  13. I' m about to do my first oil & filter change and was wondering if there are any tips out there for removing the skid plate and/or filter. I haven't looked under the vehicle yet so it'll all be new and the haynes book I have doesn't say anything on the skid plate. Any knucklebuster bolts to watch out for?? thanks
  14. Is there a way to be able to use a larger than stock oil filter . I've seen the kit for relocating two filters but that didn't appeal to me. Thanks
  15. How much work / what kind of mechanical know how is needed to do this mod?? Thanks again OK ,found the info. on another post. Can anyone comment on using the hex head nuts though??? Another typo... I meant the hex head bolt with washers instead of studs.
