Waste of money. There for looks. Althouh if you do want it, The KYB ones are real nice and come with all you need I believe. Jose

Ironman. $230 for a set. http://www.ironmandealer.com.au/pathfinder50.htm But not as high of a lift. Jose
-
Why are you using premium fuel? It's a waste. Provides no benefit on our engines. Just use mid-grade (because mid-grade leaves less build up than regular...they add more cleaner in it). Jose

I know Tyler (tekaz) gave kudos to the AC axles ( he had a thread with pics and the axle itself was thicker than OEM). If that's any help. Jose

11...very sad. but, motor getting rebuilt at end of the year. so hopefully will go up. Jose

265/75 is a lot of tire for that wheel. a lot. a 255/75 should be great.

I can't tell if your is before aft 200 from your pic. Just look up a 2001 QX4 and a 99 QX4. Wichever one yours looks like, that will tell you before/aft 2000.

My IAT isnt even near my filter.

I need the corner lights with those green clip things that go on the body. Mines lost and broke! How much? Jose

you live in florida. you don't need any of that stuff. You could do a single 2.5" exhaust. Would sound throaty. Or, if you do dualall the way, use 1.75" tubing for each bank. I do like the single exhaust idea though...
-
You want the single combined pipe to be no more than 2.5". I would even run 2.25. These are not made for great top end (although this can be had). What muffler are you getting?

VH45 Swap & SAS Update (Merged Threads)
180sx replied to tmorgan4's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
wow. beastly siting. looks like those purpose built rock crawler stances. might as well weld up the rear doors and smooth out the rear fender wells to give it a clean look. TYLER!! WHERE ARE YOU!!! Jose -
The 4runners are so nice!! But the question is, what are your plans? Keeping it stock? Slight mods? Little to no off-road? These will narrow your search results. Jose
-
The mounts are not different completely. You just have to use a spacer on the newer ones when using an older strut. The shocks were invered i believe on the newer face lift? Some one corrrect me If i am wrong, but I believe the bushing is a differenrt size. Jose

You could buy the KYB GR-2 Struts and Shocks on ebay for about $200 shipped. Thats a pretty good deal right there, IMO. But be sure to get the KYB GR-2 Struts. There are many options for shocks. Jose

^^ Or a transversed engine! This topic is debatable. An e-fan will free up some space for sure, but I think that's the only realistic benefit it provides. As far as water hitting it and crapping out, not really true. These are designed to get wet from rain and splashing through puddles and the likes. The problem would be going through a water crossing and breaking the fins from the water (unless you put a switch to turn it off) as the stock clutch would just forcefully disengage instead. It's really up to you. Just be sure to do research on the different fans and shrouds and the likes. Like Simon said, these could actually hurt your engine rather than help. Jose

OK, here we go. 96-04 Pathfinder have "drive flanges" that are always locked. So when you engage 4x4, you're all ready to go. Downside is even in 2WD the front drive train is still spinning. You can get manual hubs to unlock them when not using 4x4 (WARN or Mile Marker) and lock them when you want 4x4 or when you think you'll be using it. NOTE- I see you have a 2003 Pathifinder. I also see you noted you have a manual T-case, in which case never mind. If you have the auto T-case (the knob) then please be careful when changing hubs and using them as it is easy to mess up the transfer case). The Frontiers and Xterras won't fit on Pathfinders. But, the older 90-95 hubs fit. Some of these came with "auto hubs" that engage and disengage "automatically". These may be what you want. BUT, these are, well, not worth it in my opinion. Not as string as the stock drive flange and manual hubs. I would talk to the WD21 guys about these auto-hubs if this is what you are looking for, but again, not really the best option. Jose

OK, for the fun part now! Get the 2" lift springs from 4x4parts.com Get KYB GR-2 Struts and some new rear shocks from your pick (amazon has good deals) Get OEM strut mount hardware (mainly spherical bearing) Get camber bolts (4 just in case). If you choose, get a 1" spacer for the front to level out the truck (only install AFTER your springs have settled) nx4industries has these (daddyrim on this forum) Install lift! Next to-do Warn or mile marker manual hubs (WARN is better) Rock sliders bunmpers ect... This good for you? Jose
-
There are a few people running no sway bar here. And also some running those shocks with 2" lift. According to them, you should be alright. Jose
-
And the radiator core support as the head lights mount differently. Jose

I just used an extaension, plug socket and u joint. Works great for me. My stock black bag was stolen (why would they take that?) so I lost that stuff. Never did use it though. Definately messed up my hand the first time i did it, but it's easy to do now. Jose

nice!

Depends when for me. I'd be able to get them at the end of the year. these things look awesome. So pretty!

Getting 13.5 mpg city, is something amiss?
180sx replied to iPath's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Could be a bunch of things. My MPG's just fell off. When I go it, it got 16MPG, then it went down to 12, and now its at 8. I'm getting ready to rebuild the motor, since it's also leaking oil everywhere. Just check the basics. Tires, CV's, ignition stuff. Fuel filter, PCV, air filter. Tune up stuff! Jose -
Well try this if you do it. (note, this is all theory in my head and from reading random internets)***Put the MAF in a tube that has an inside diameter a little bigger (no more than an inch) and your milage may go up. Our engines (well, most engines for that matter) run rich. Enlarge the hole, and the sensor thinks it's getting less air than it really is, effectively leaning it out. Well, you don't have to try it. Only safe way to do it would be to get an A/F ratio gauge with a wideband O2 to see what is actually going on. Jose
