  1. Hey guys i just bought a brand new cb radio from radio shack, i know you guys prolly would have recommended something else but im sure it will work fine with the amount that ill be using it (includes lifetime warrantee.) i was curious to see your guys's cb setups with the antenna placement as well as the placement of the box inside the car. Any advice on where to mount the antenna it is a 27incher.
  2. 400 miles on my last tank!! 20mpg, lol stock ride height and tires though
  3. thanks for the input guys, it looks like ill be keeping it for awhile, might as well drive it into the ground lol. One more question, does anyone have any mysterious problems with your pathfinder running a few quarts low on oil and loosing power untill the oil is changed or more oil is added. Mine has been doing that after i put about 2.5k miles on an oil change, i must be burning oil and i know that is a common problem with nissans in general but why is it drastically loosing power, id hope that isnt from friction in the motor from lack of oil?
  4. Right now i am sort of in a dilemma, i am about to start my first semester of college and i have just inherited a 2003 Pathy se with 166k miles on the original tranny and motor (it has been babied). I would love to lift it and do some other minor mods to make a kick ass offroad/ expedition vehicle. So to make a long story short i am going to be on a tight budget and i was wondering if it was wort it to dump around 2k in parts on a pathy that may be nearing the end of its life, so how many miles you got on your pathy? you think mine will hold out for another 50k or 70k before i have to replace the motor and tranny? Feel free to elaborate on any major mechanical repairs you guys had to make at certain mileages. I know it varies greatly on how the pathfinder has been driven all of its life but i would just like to get an idea of when major drive train parts go out on the R50's? Thanks Guys
  5. thamks for the help guys im gonna order some other things first that are higher on my priority list but will put some photos up of the pathy once she is headed skyward;)
  6. Hey guys i have been looking around for good quality (cheap price wise) coil springs for my r50 pathy. I have checked all the popular sites and so far the cheapest coil spring package is the Old Man Emu coils. I know AC sells a set of 4 for 360 but i'm not so sure i want to pay that yet if i can either find them else where for cheaper or a different brand of coil spring with the same specs. Thanks guys
  7. thanks alot for the help, is there any 1nch hd rear springs instead of the 1/2 inch i was thinking about doing that so i wont have to worry about any sagging and so it will be completely even when i add the nx4 spacers
  8. Did that end up leveling out your ride or does it look staggered and awkward. i was thinking about doing the ome rear suspension with 1inch strut spacers upfront since the struts are fairly new. how much did that end up costing you for everything, i was hoping to keep it under 400 dollars for everything? And how capable are you offroad?
  9. Hi im new to the forum and i figured i would pick your guys's brains a bit. I am looking at getting a lift kit for my 2003 se pathfinder, as i am running on a tight budget i was thinking of saving a few bucks and getting the ome lift kit without the struts. My question is will my ride quality suffer much because i am not purchasing the struts with the lift kit and will it still be fairly flexy offroad. Also i was wondering what kind of tires i would be able to fit with this lift, i have 265/70/16's in mind but i am not a hundred percent sure they will fit. Any input will help guys, i apologize if there is already a post answering this question of mine i did do some searching and couldnt find anything.
