  1. Read this too http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...t=0entry47406
  2. I dont have the tools, and I am assuming this dude doesent have them either. The cost of the tools, downtime, and the chance that you mess it up outwieghts the cost of getting it done, especially when its something that only needs replacing every hundred thousand.

    Stolen!

Im in the Seattle Burien area, my eyes are peeled.
  4. I got timing belt and water pump replaced for just under 550 Do both, save your time and you car.
  5. Mine has one... Mounting one on a pathy that never had one is impossible or requires more fab than its worth from what I remember. Something about how ones that had them already on had some sort of heavy duty bracket welded on the frame or something. I dont know for shure. I would put a tire on the roof on a mount or something.
  6. My mexi made pace setters seem fine. The EGR valve is about 1/8 to low though. Thats what bending is for!
  7. LOL vsiks, you win master of trolldom award. I aint got no problem with yotas, out of all my friends who i know wheel, most have yotas. They get them to the trails and most of the time they get them back home, and theres alot of stuff for them out there. At least its not a jeep.
  8. Overall the truck shape is classic throw back. Front is nasty but it functions and from what Ive seen theres alot of room to mount 300 lights on it.
  9. Someone help this poor sap steal back his pathy from that crook. For god sakes, you could have done all that work blindfolded with 1 arm tied behind your back by now. If you did have 2 cats your replacement would replace the extra one, then you get the rest made custom straight pipe.
  10. Today was the first time I actually had the...experiance of driving a Jeep. It was a coworkers 90 something circle light(i think) with about 130,000 on it. First of all every story Ive heard about Jeeps in general is that they dont last past 70,000. Second of all this car friggin sucks. The steering is garbage, the brakes are like, either off or locked up, the line of sight is terrible, the seats are uncomfortable, the whole cockpit is ugly and tight. The real question is what is the obession with these cars? What is the hype? Why would you pick this to make into a 4 wheeler? One thing i did like however was looking out the backside while backing up, its like a fishbowl back there.
  11. Every story Ive heard reguarding body lifts and bumpers has had the effect of the bumpers becoming usless pieces of metal. Even more so than before.
  12. LOL that comparison reeks of weed and beer. While I did see a subaru impreza on the same road as a SAS'ed pathy. It looks fun just to be out there taking on those views. Its not like you have to prove anything to make up for a small peter or anything.....
  13. Thats exactly what I was wondering..... Anywho, Im finishing up my header install today, as long as you tap the bolts with a hammer for about 10 minutes and make a couple sacrifices with small animals to the car gods youll be good to go. I dident have any broken bolts. Im using pacesetters, and there hasent been any modification yet on them, but I havent put on the EGR valve yet so....
  14. If lexus can have a pebble beach edition nissan can have a warren miller.
  15. wow simon, time for a cleaning my friend.
  16. thanks for all the tips, a univeral joint socket and deep 12mm did the 2 that were hardest. The pasenger side is on and loosley bolted, the driver side is cray tight, holy hell. Ill spend tomarow on that, everything else is alright, the mid tube wasent cut and the sensor is fine. Thanks for those tips taco man, I appreciat it? any tips on the drivers side install? the horn is out and the airfilter is off, anything else that would aid instalation?
  17. anyone have any advise on taking off the lower drivers side manifold bolts? I can feel them and put a socket on them but I dont have room to turn them, tried a 4", 12" extension. I was thinking a deep 12mm socket? Is the EGR line that goes to the drivers manifold completly removable? The bottom that connects to the manifold came out alright, but the top piece wont budge and I really dont want to break it! The Any who have done this without taking the engine out, I would love to hear you methods.
  18. hey thats not a bad idea..... brb!
  19. ARRRRRRGGGGGGgggggg!!!!111+1 Sorry, just needed to ventm its 11:00 and I got the easy side off, the lower y connecter is practicly made of rust and I cant get any thing out, and I almost lost a finger trying to start on the drivers side (the hard side). Mabey tomarow moringing things will be better....pray for me!
  20. I hope to give my truck to my son one day. All pimped out, but old by his standards, a perfect first car built to crash into things and hobble home.
  21. Chrome for show. Black and rusty for go.
  22. Gee thanks! You think you could send me some blinker oil too?
  23. I used the above method on my bumpers that are fading, Still looks good after almost a year, I kinda rushed it though. If you wanted it nice you would strip it and re-prime it. Second that fusion comment, the stuff is awsome.
