  1. Mine are made from really hard rubber (similar to motormount grade) and lubed in what im guessing is waterproof grease. No squeeks, in fact, perfect operation. GrimGreg, we understand you hate Calmini, so please troll some more.
  2. To bash them is to sink to they're level. We both wheel probley the most ignored and under apreciated 4x4's in the world. You would think there would be a bigger sence of comradery(sp).
  3. Thanks man, your moderation is well deserved! Actually I was so stoked I had an LSD I dident even notice the hose, then I was so sad I thought it was toast already.
  4. I was cleaning the car today and I noticed this. I never even noticed this hose before, no liquid is comming out of it. 94' pathy w/LSD, anyone know where i stick that guy?
  5. 2 coats primer, 4 coats satin black rusto, 3 coats clear outdoor paint.
  6. why? you have anything calmini on your truck?
  7. I love my auto and I wouldent have it any other way. manual is for cars, auto is for trucks
  8. What the conversation sounds like to me is some jerk off who woudlent stop talking to a guy that has 10 hours of work to do in a 8 hour day, and after getting chewed out once for trying to be buddy buddy/ stealing some idea decides to call back and record the conversation and make calmini look bad. Where I work people that come in 5 times a week acting like overly nice retards asking questions they probrobley already know the awnsers to are called dumbasses. I have heard nothing but good things about Calmini, I researched them and ordered them, the guy that helped me was short and helpfull, no extra BS. I gave him all my part numbers I wanted, I asked him if they would all work together and they did. He asked if I had any additional questions, I said no. They were sent 1 day before I expected them. The mechanic that installed them siad they installed perfectly, as well as the suspension lift. Even if the guy is an asshole its no reflection of the product.
  9. The way aluminum wheels are made today I havent given a second thought to purchasing them, they cost more, but you save about 5lb per wheel(correct?) and they look way better than painted steel. Ive had mine for almost 3 months.
  10. WTF IS WRONG WITH ME. first i make a post on a lopsided pathy when its parked lopsided, then i forget to turn the brightness up. Im loosing my mind over here....sorry....
  11. parking light fuse, check. Ill get out there tomarow after work, its allitle late to be doing garage work now (12:11), and yes, all the bulbs blew at once. I noticed something else really wierd/scary. I was comming home from the movies and I smelled burning plastic in the front by the dash, mabey there is a short somewhere? BTW, got a new Makita 18v 1/2 cordless today, its awsome. weeee
  12. dont break the tap off in there, that can be a real pain, go very slow becouse just when you get overconfident something ****** happens, metal can smell fear.
  13. For NC threads you want size 18 tap with a 5/16 drill, at least if my memory serves me. Google it and make shure!
  14. The light that lights up the dash when you have your lights on stopped working about 2 weeks ago, I took the dash guage pod out but I dont wanna mess anything up in there so I put it back in. Everything looked ok, the fuses are ok. I thought lights like this were LEDS and that they would outlive the life of the truck? Is the fix more of a service center kind of thing?
  15. oh noes! spelling police!
  16. Thats not a huge differance, mabey your PSI is off a couple lb's, you wouldent know since you mesured from the cap.
  17. THis is the kind of thing that should be like a READ THIS BEFORE YOU DO ANYHTING AT ALL king of thread.
  18. A section separate from the forum where common howtos are, how to put on a lift, how to tighten torsion, how to know the tire size, backspace, everything that regulars take for common knowlage but new people ask without searching.
  19. BWHAHAHAHAHA Ive never felt so incredibly dumb in my entire life. The place outside my house where I park it is about a 20 degrees uneven. but its hard to tell becouse the whole driveway is like that, and becouse I dont drive the truck alot (2,500 miles in 2 years) it sits at an aquard angle the majority of the time. After parking it across the street where the incline is only 3 or 5 degrees it leveled out after 2 days. Now my wheel rub is almost gone (still getting 3" body on soon). Now lets never talk about this ever agian.
  20. Intresting, Ill look at getting some new ones! the shocks are the new calmini ones.
  21. Ive had my Calmini lift on for a couple months now and Im noticing something very strange happening. The right rear is sinking. I thought it could be the bushings on top of the spring fell out and thats not it, nothing looks bent or missing. The spring is however compressed alot more than the other while sitting on flat ground. I was thinking mabey I got a bad spring? Or something loose mabey? Any thoughts would be much apreciated.
