this t-belt is goodyear and my last one was beck/arnley both seem good, the B/A only had 3,000 miles on it when i pulled the motor and the goodyear has a whopping 160 miles on it now

-bounce- oh yes. the town fears me once again! took her to UC Davis today (nice 135 mile round trip break in ride) and her lower rad hose was not yet done telling me it was not yet tight enuff.. so there was poor Dave.. fresh from his operation.. sitting in the pathy while i was on teh ground pulling off the skid plate and tightening the rad hose.... all good now tho!

i just replaced that on the purple turd... it's called a power steering pressure switch and it's here: easily replaced, it unscrews... i suggest you hit up a JY for this part as my Nissan dealer wanted $66 + tax for it.... nobody else has one... except....... the JY. I got mine, on free permanent loan from my local JY off a 300Z sly

oh. it needs a brush. it is thick stuff and brushing it on assures a good thick layer of it and the 2 frames i have used it on i only did the outside.. once the outside is done.. it won't rust through. though i must admit.. you can spray it, we asked when we got our POR 15 atta car show.... they just won't 100% guarantee it if you spray cuz they feel with spray spots can be missed and if that spot rusts, they will not be held responsible for it because it was sprayed and not brushed

for my 92 pathy the p/n is KNF-E1080 that is K & N's part number. it is the square filter.

POR 15 baby. POR 15. lasts a lifetime, goes on with a brush and do whatever part or all of your frame you want. I have used it on 2 frames now, and the pathy will be #3 after her body lift. write up about it in the preoduct reviews section

nah. i have a plan i think will work. bend the black tbelt cover base straight and then cut the butt off the bolt.. then the head of the bolt should drop off... there. problem fixed. it's cracked very low and i think it will be fine once the bolt is removed. nothin a zip tie can't handle...lol

yeah, my box is mostly anhiliated anyway.. cracks or breaks everywhere... i need to check out jims write up sly

sssh and here's the lil whoopsee with the bolt.. it was rubbing the back of the timing pulley (quite a nasty little noise) and cracked the base.... guess what i get to do tomorrow?

yes. if you swapped motors (and there would be some mods to be done) you would need allt he wiring from the new motor, including the ECU from that new motor. it is a very expensive swap, if you really want more power/torque.. get larger cams, P & P the little stinker and get a full after market exhaust system

:o IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!!!!!!!! smoked like chitty chitty bang bang for about 10 minutes.. but besides a lil hiccup (bottom bolt holding lower t-belt cover rubbing lower timing pulley) she puuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs like a kitten....... and my exhaust sounds even BETTER :bow: there is a god. really. AND! that nasty little power steering pressure switch that just broke as i watched it fall off... well.. thanks to the local JY loaning me one free for life.... i got that replaced (from a 300Z no less) and she is alive. the purple turd is ALIVE!!!!!! now.. to put the front diff back under her.. i may be able to actually DRIVE her tomorrow... lmao..... -bounce- -bounce- -bounce-

sssh i don't know about a DIY test... but my pathy has the same issue (slowy wanders away without adult supervision of the steering wheel) ... i know i need an alignment, i changed my pitman arm last year.. so i am thinkin ball joints/cv's next on hit list.... i do have a couple worn bushings too.. but nothing that would cause any issues at the moment.

there is also a difference in spline counts.. pre 90's had 27 spline.. 90-95 are 28 spline (just FYI) oh yeah.. i have the LSD...
