  1. it will make very little difference removing the front. may as well just leave it there.
  2. i'm a manager at u haul. do you want a JOB? yup, we cross all our chains, it is to help in the control of the trailer in case of disconnection. I've seen it happen, and seen crossed chains work. it helps prevent the whiplash that would occur if the trailer had straight hooked chains
  3. or ya coulda checked out my write up.......... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10354 and damn this topic is OLD
  4. my coopers come in 33x10.5 & 33x12.5 (what i have)
  5. i had disco's on my jeep. they're not as "easy to use" as you imagine.......... believe me. just take the bar off and if oyu feel like you MUST drive like a race car driver, i suggest you drive one of your CARS
  6. i drive king 50 miles a day to work n back. he is a perfect gentleman..... as GG said, you just can't drive em like a race car round corners anymore... i am getting used to king's handling now i have actually been driving him everyday, and it's not bad at all. just can't getcher swerve on as much.
  7. amen. then, you too could have an ass like this.......... (i actually broke 1 side of mine before removing the whole thing)
  8. take your truck somewhere else and have them run the codes. have yo tried disconnecting your battery for 5 minutes then reconnecting it?
  9. ha HA! so you ARE guna lift it! hehehehe schweeeeeeeeeeet rig
  10. WTF. a 50 year old who keys not 1 but 2 vehicles for the sake of 10 friggin feet!!!!!!! i woulda smashed his face in..... props to you on self control, cuz i sure wouldn't of had any at all.
  11. what i meant to say was: the 87-89 are 3 wire (red, black n blue) 90-95 as i know it are 4 wire...red, black, white n blue. or some combo like that, and yes, the connectors are different. i had actually started a topic asking this precise question late last year.
  12. no, it won't work. 90+ up is a 3 wire sensor, 87-89 is 2 wire. i should know...... i had an 88 and wanted to put the o2 sensor in my 91. not gunna happen without some soldering and hacking... and then i wouldn't do it
  13. you want me to go outside n lay on the ground n take more pics for you dontcha? :tonguefinger:
  14. hehehe. i shall show you the mud. but you can choose to sit on the sidelines...... :tonguefinger:
  15. hmm.. my vehicle check list goes pretty much as follows (and i'm sure i am going to miss a couple thigns) Exterior: all lights work fender flares/mud flaps attached/removed (personal choice there) no sharp protruding objects from fenders a stuffed tire may get damaged on bumpers and exterior additions not about to fall off check tire pressures and condition of tires/rims/tightness of lug nuts Interior: all wheeling "accessories" are loaded up in the back and secured Registration, insurance and AAA card are in glove box all gauges on dash working properly test the transfer case/4wd is engaging and fully functional Under the truck: all bolts/nuts attached and tight check all lines/wires to make sure nothing is hanging down to get ripped off on rocks, or up against anything that will melt it check condition of said lines/wires suspension is in good/working condition, nothing broken/leaking Under the hood: check and top up all fluids check security of battery (hehe) check for any frayed wires or loose connections check belts check motor mounts that's all i can remember for now...... i can't find my "wheelin check list" at the moment...... when i do i'll post it.
  16. ooh schweeeeeeeet! thanks mark!
  17. that's sexy...... oh momma likes WHY does argentina have to be so far away at this time?
  18. ah, i see it now......... yeah, that's a bit narrow isn't it...........
  19. lemme tell y'all. mark handed that bad boy to me today...... i almost dropped it n smashed my toes. that bad boy is HEAVY DUTY.
  20. you have to host them through sites like photobucket. you can't DL them direct from a cam or puter anymore. if you click the "slicks pics" link tot he right of my sig pics, you can get yerself a photobucket account http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=14047
  21. if i am getting a visual of what you are talking about correct, no, you don't need a skid plate all the way across. some prefer it, but it is not crucial to your pathy's survival. if oyu plan on betaing it up THAT BAD. you may wanna think about SAS anyway.... did he leave room on the skid plate for you to remove the oil drain plug? oh yeah, i forgot the part about..... your tires need to turn......
  22. well, lemme put it like this.... i paid $100 for the smittybuilt from transworldmoto (ben) on the forums.... i asked smittybuilt how much for a pathy...... $450 yota front ends seem to be of similar dimentions, width wise and such, so with VERY LITTLE mods, i have a bulletproof bumper...
  23. if i remember right, the bushign bolts in from the back of the hinge (2 bolts get the hinge off) you can lube it... but the noise will come back if the bushing is worn out and people wonder WHY i took all my carriers off?
  24. oh, sorry, told ya i missed something. yes. PBB is fine to use. i would stick with the clamps on there...... there's a reason they use certaint ypes of clamps on things.... i am sure the screw type would be fine as long as you don't overtighten them
