You shop at Walmart!! B

Do you mean owners manual or FSM?? I might have a manual for a USA, LHD, 3.0liter petrol 1995 Pathfinder you can have, let me check the parts truck. I can take a picture of the fuse box cover for you at the same time, assuming they are the same. B

I just bought some Goodyear blades when I saw them on sale at Costco (2 for 1 price at $9) for most of our cars. I also Rainex the windows and the wipers worked so well, I went back the next week and bought more for the rest of the vehicles at regular price, $9 each. Still happy with what I got for the $. http://mplink.com/_goodyear/?mid=main The wife has Bosch Icons on her Matrix for over 2 years and they still work well. B

Wow, all I did (with the truck sitting on its tires) was undo the large nut at the end, then the two bolts that go into the LCA, replaced the bushings and reassembled in the reverse order. No problems or fuss what so ever... B

To add to that, most people run what ever goes in their tranny in case of leaking seals, so an automatic runs ATF and a Manual shift runs gear oil... B

'95 Pathfinder's Automatic just Died ! V6-XE
Precise1 replied to DoctorBill's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I bought brand new Mile Markers for the wife's 99.0 for $90, same part number for the 95. Fitment is all listed in the Garage or 87-95 Section, pinned at the top. B -
Cool, good tip and thanks for sharing it. Which thread do you want to keep? B
-
Well, misting VS vacuum line, misting seems like it will disburse better. After all, the vacuum line is not sucking it up and distributing it drop per drop to every cylinder. I don't know... I'll experiment after my overdue smog check... Exactly what I had had thought. B

X2 Up hill both ways?? I don't think so, look at the ribs and see it hanging off of it?? It isn't just a surface effect... The quality of the picture is limited. Do you have access to a camera?? B
-
Derek, I have heard of people using a spray bottle on mist and spraying directly into the intake tube. Is there any reason not to use that method? It seems a little more user friendly and easier to meter. B

A chevy on fire seems natural, normal and even a bit festive at times. Surely a crowd pleaser... B

*sigh* Go to the Garage section and look for the pinned FSM topic, find a working link and download it for free. Bearings are not hard to deal with at all. All you are trying to do is make sure they are seated correctly, then setting them so they are not loose as play will allow wheel side load and that will damage them also. Not loose, but not too tight. I go to not loose and then the next locking screw hole. They want a spring tension gauge?? I tied a string to a 3 and 5lb weight and hung it from the wheel stud. Same thing if you think about it. Don't get overwhelmed, it's not something magical. Read about what you have to do, think about what you are trying to do, go and do it. Too tight will generate heat and damage, in that order. Is the spindle/hub hot after driving?? (some of this is from the brakes, I'm talking about real hot at the end of the hub) Does it feel crunchy when rotating it?? Do they they look tinted (not silver any more) or blue? Are there and visible metal slivers/particles? B

I am a big fan of the electronic sending units. They may be a little more expensive but you don't have to worry about lubes and leaks, a definite pay off in my book. B

At least you can pick it up out of the snow drifts you'll slide into... I hope you don't have any more tranny trouble. B -
I thought the tranny computer is behind a panel on the passenger side, behind the seats?? I'm pretty sure the tranny will bolt up but yes, you would need the computer for it. SC88Pathy ran into this issue when his 87 pathy tranny crapped out on him and knows it far better. Try searching with his name or PMing him but he is having computer problems and may not be on line for a few days. B

I can't help much with this, but if you think the engine is under load via tranny, jack up the rear and see what it does out of gear while running?? Jacking up the rear was the only way I found that my drive shaft was wagging the truck due to binding Uni joints. Just saying, unloaded can tell a lot... B

Nice!! Thanks for posting that. I think that ties into someone's post of taking the voltage off of the ECU input (or something) to drive a gauge rather than a new sensor. I think Tungsten on that and an older Russian member we haven't heard from, Terrano something years ago. I'll dig to put it together... B

Ok, the STOCK PATHFINDER VG motor. Is that better?? I never saw that one above in a showroom with a MSRP sticker... B

x57 on some sort of T or Y fitting. I haven't done this yet so I don't know the thread size but it shouldn't be hard to figure out. B
-
Ok, you have a 92 WD21 that has a 3.0l motor, that makes it the VG30 which is not junk, it is actually quite a good, reliable motor. It simply doesn't have tremendous power (155 HP new IIRC). The VG33 is the younger, bigger brother with 10% more displacement and a few other minor changes (oil filter location, larger exhaust studs, etc), making something like 170HP. Other than a few brackets, etc it is almost a direct swap, putting all the WD21 components on the R50 motor. Now, install a decent intake and headers/exhaust and you should have adequate HP. Remember the VG motor is about reliability not maximum power... B
-
Sorry, I'm just saying how mine were. I really don't think it matters so if it ain't broke, don't fix it... B
-
I'm pretty sure the HP comes from different heads, cams, etc and the flow rate is just there to keep up, not the other way around. In all honesty, before you start chasing theories and buying parts, why don't you do (or have performed) compression tests (both dry and wet) and maybe test the fuel pressure/leak down rate, etc to get some solid info first. Can the injector seals be damaged/shrunken from the vehicle sitting so long?? B
-
Which way did it come off?? Beveled edge faces out on my truck. Ok, well, free and not having the section you need=useless. The FSM is free also and has that section as shown by Adam. Download it and save yourself some grief... The dealer?? If you have trouble finding one, send me your addy and I'll mail you one. M8x1.25x30mm SHCS B

Hell, the wife's 99 has heated leather seats!! Oh, you have an XE... Maybe it is a sign to upgrade? Maybe it doesn't mean crap?? I hate maybes!! I try to deal with what is's... That said, you are still mad at the other driver (wasn't there). Have you no right to sue for negligence if it was that bad?? (not sue happy!!) B
