  1. thanks man, that is great news. im glad its not vacuum related. oh ya, cuz my vent line was clogged, the tank would pressurize and when the cap was removed gas vapour came rushing out, enough to blow the gas cap a good 10 feet.
  2. im having similar problems with my d21, the fuel check valve on the line coming out of the tank was clogged, and a second line, what i think is vacuum line is clogged and broken around the front passenger side tire... is this second line a vacuum line? It T's off and goes down to the top of the front diff, i think the other end goes to the top of my auto trans. im guessing these are fairly important for shifting, are they not?

  5. well... anyone want some parts? im about done... one of the other bars were screwed, and the anchors... :headwall: :headwall:
  6. Thanks for the help! i will try it in the morning. btw i forgot to mention, i took the torsion bars, anchors and cross member from my pathy to use on my truck since they were less seized and it better condition. i cleaned it up gave the whole setup a coat of black rust paint.
  7. IM starting to go crazy because of these damn torsion bars. i couldnt get the rear anchors off so i dropped the cross member and everything, along with the front anchors. so i got the cross member back in and re-indexed the front, but i cant get the bars to come forward enough to put the retaining clips on.. and it looks like the bar is all the way in the front anchor.. any help would be appreciated.

  10. pink you say? hmmm. it WOULD match the giant 'hello kittie' sticker on my hood... im only gonna use a spray can, nothin special
  11. well thanks. i dont think ill be painting them pink... i was thinking about hunter orange
  12. ive been looking at my Superlift control arms, and i dont like the way they look... they are not the gold colour from the ads for them. My truck is black, my new rims are also black. id like to get some colour in there... i could used that colour for accents, stripes, etc also... if all else fails i will paint them black to hide the zinc-coated look. suggestions are welcome!
  13. awesome pathy Larry, looks pretty rugged. my truck is off-road only so im gonna try to get the spiders welded up. is there any adjustments that need to be done when re-installing into the axle housing? or can i just drop it in?
  14. has anyone welded up the spider gears in these axles? the rear, obviously. im too cheap for a locker. also my truck is off-road only, so i dont have to worry about it on the road. side note, i pulled the rear axle outta my dead pathy thinking i could use it for my Hb... turns out they have different gear ratios.. lol
  15. on my Hardbody: get spindles pressed out, and install them in my superlift UCAs, install UCAs, Upper Ball joints, homemade body lift, make 1 more body mount for front clip, re-install torsion bars/cross member, Get rims and tires mounted, put on painted front fenders, pathfinder grill & headlights, steering upgrade...

  19. there are pictures at the top of page 3. mine were so seized i had to take off the front anchors and drop the crossmember, a total PITA...
