You know, most of the time all it takes to get a vehicle unstuck is just a little tug. I've seen simple 2500lb quad winches pull mid size trucks out of holes. All it took was that little tug to pull the tires to traction, which is usually only a foot or so. Rarely ever are you so stuck that you need to literally transplant the vehicle to a different location...

That thing is loud!

How much backspacing do you have B? Stock 3.75"?

If the paint can't stand a few hundred degrees then it should have never been applied...

I replaced my compression rod bushings on my old truck with the Moog ones and they never squeaked once.

Sweet thanks for the info guys!

Were you up at the Power Lines? That doesn't sound too good. It would seem like you blew a head gasket but if your coolant level is staying full...hmmm. How long did you run it for? It may take a little while to notice any differences in the coolant. And you mean the bypass hose for the water pump right? That little 90 degree hose above the thermostat and behind the timing belt?

Me neither. I have the lumbar at full support. I hate that saggy feeling empty in the seat around your lower back.

I don't know man but I've been thinking about it for a long time. I guess I could take a look at my cousin's caR50 and see if it'll work.

Definitely worth looking into. I'm still looking around for an electronically actuated air valve that I can trigger with the button. My buddy that I bought this from, his old Yota SR5 had a small air horn hooked up under the hood that actually had a small compressor and tank built in! It was nuts, and the best part was the switch was his AC switch. He had enough room under the hood because he had the 22RE instead of the V6. It was like that when he bought it though so he wasn't much help when it came to figuring out how it worked... I was just thinking of, for now, filling the tank at a gas station whenever it got low. I can't imagine I'd be blasting the horn too much...

Take it out! Better heat dispersion, and not much more noise...at least I didn't notice any more noise on my old truck. My old Pathy had the stock one that was deteriorating and caused random strips to fall down and ended up getting tangled in the fan. That was a disaster. My new one has one too but it's 100% flawless.

I looked all over but it's just too damn long. There's no where under the hood for it, sadly. Maybe I can find somewhere underneath to stick it.

I picked up an air horn from my buddy yesterday for $15. It came right off a Freightliner semi truck and runs on 35-125 psi, and by God it's functional. Now my question is how can I hook up a control for it? I know I need an air tank and the only place I can mount it is on my roof. For anyone who's taken the headliner out, how much room is there between the sheet metal and the headliner? Would there be a way to run an air line to the horn between there? I think I've seen 90 degree air hose fittings that maybe I could just screw into the bottom of the horn and have the air line run from that, instead of just the air line and having to bend the line to make the angle. I'd also like to have it be an electronic control so I can just mount a switch in my center console or lower dashboard. Any ideas?

People who get suckered into things thinking they're the best thing ever. And I'm changing what I said, the Mustang was at the Ford dealership as a CFC and the others were at the Kia dealership. They're right next to each other.

So we have a 5 control arm rear suspension in our WD21 Pathfinders, not a 5 link suspension? A 3 or 4 link suspension isn't a 3 or 4 link, but a 3 or 4 control arm suspension? No, Rusty's has the wrong terminology. I'm sure we all know what they're talking about, but it is indeed a linked suspension, not a control armed suspension. Hence 3 link, 4 link, 5 link. Can't wait to see some wheelin' pics and vids of it!
-
Link is the proper term here. Good thing a solution was found. $2650 is steep for a lifted XJ like that though, sorry to say.

My mom and I went to the Kia dealership to see if she would qualify for fun. I saw some gorgeous cars in there. There was a mint dark red '98 Mustang Cobra with the sport package, 5 speed, tan leather interior, and 150k on the odometer. ...CFC... Also a few WD21s, Broncos, Tahoes, 4Runners, GP GTPs, etc. Such a fskcing waste.

Is it an automatic or a manual? That's a very important piece of information...
-
Yeah! Let's tax fossil fuels and raise every one's electricity and heating bills and then when no one can afford the utility the businesses go under!
-
Do us a favor to help us help you. If you can, take some in depth pictures of the suspension. Maybe someone will notice something out of whack or be able to give a few pointers. I can't tell from the pictures how things are set up and the quality of the components like GPG said.

Code 13 and 98 are the Coolant Temp Sensor codes. My bad. 13 is for the ECU.

Death wobble is not common to these rigs. Every Jeep Cherokee I've dealt with never had the issue. I wish I could offer some info on this but I really have no idea where to start. It looks like someone forgot to do the drop pitman arm on that... That's a sick Jeep though!

Gotta love that Obama!

Probably burned a clutch and sent chunks into the solenoid pack so that's probably clogged up. That sucks man...time for a new tranny.
