  1. Sick. Love that colour. Your rig's lookin' sweet!
  2. Sweet, thanks! Definitely wanna replace the cheesy running boards for something more substantial.
  3. SilverPath, just curious what length are the sliders you bought from Rugged Rocks?
  4. Cool. Definitely keep us up to speed on what you notice in terms of efficiency, output increase, acceleration, etc. Kudos on taking the plunge with something new!
  5. I'd leave 'em connected all the time. Your front flex won't be spectacular but at least on the pavement it's all gravy.
  6. Well done! Your rig looks awesome! I've heard great things about the Duratracs, too. The 31's really suit the truck. How's the Jet V-Force Plus?
  7. Mo bettah... With the SFD installed, your COG is definitely higher, which means decreased stability when turning. But good to know your struts no longer top out... even with the AC coils? I wonder, with the AC coils installed, what it be like to go sway bar-less up front. +1. If you have aftermarket coils, the rear sway bar becomes pretty redundant.
  8. With the typical suspension lift (AC, OME), you should be able to fit ~32" tires with little to no rubbing. Just make sure your wheels have adequate backspacking/offset (<3.75") to clear the strut.
  9. More plush with the SFD? How's modifying the subframe going to change the 'feel' of the suspension?
  10. Is the difference that noticeable? If you want front flex that much, SAS your rig!!!
  11. Nice rig. Definitely start a thread in the Members' Rides section.
  12. Usually, cleaning the MAF is the best solution. Not sure what's involved in testing it, though...
  13. I had a SFD kit ready for my '98 but it's a write-off so... Yes.
  14. The lottery would be nice... But you don't need it to SFD your R50. Thanks for sharing your adventures, Andrew!
  15. And again you fail. Get it together, man!!!
  16. No worries, your question applies to the bulbs which is why I started this thread in the first place. The low-beam bulbs are D2R and is a 35watt system, IIRC. I'm sure DDM would have the right kit for what you need.
  17. Hey, as long you like it who cares what I think. I was referring moreso the non-OEM look. I've had some pretty serious systems in both my trucks ('93 Chevy Blazer and the '98 Pathy) but I tend to *try* and keep that OEM look, mostly due to theft and the like. I definitely agree with you on the overall high-quality sound over mega bass... Same thing goes with home theatre systems, too. I also want to see this dual-alternator set-up, as I've been toying with the idea since I first got the '98 three years ago. Definitely keep up the good work!
  18. That's a lot of bass... Little excessive for my tastes but I'm definitely a fan of wicked custom systems in SUVs. OP, nice job on your custom missing link.
  19. A very annoying problem. I was hoping Adam would've posted pics by now... Tsk, tsk.
  20. I ended up going with Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs... Now if only Nissan had made getting at the bulb easier.
