  1. I've just lost a huge load of respect for the likes of Borla... Fail.
  2. True story. Seriously, though. It is the sexiest steering extension you'll ever see.
  3. 4" seems to the most common but it can vary. Talk to shift220 about his kit available from Krypton Fabrications.
  4. I'm sure someone will wanna scoop 'em up.
  5. This. @fusion: Just take the breather off, go to a hardware store and get the clerk to match up the right diameter. Get a few feet of the stuff, that way you got more than enough.
  6. Or, you can contact Brooks at 12oClockLabs and order the Speedo DRD recalibration kit. The Universal U1 kit should run abour $80. 12oClockLabs Here's the link he sent for the exact item: SpeedoDRD
  7. Really? I ran premium in my '98 a few times, and the difference was negligible at best. I found it ran its best on 89 (mid-grade in MB) fuel and a bottle of Lucas Injector additive every third/fourth fill. On my commute to work yesterday, I was able to squeeze nearly 300 miles out of 3/4 tank of Shell V-Power, for about 20MPG hwy. I was pretty happy with that. It would be nice to keep that kinda mileage with a SFD and bigger tires.
  8. OME 3" coils? Where were you able to find those? And a rear set shouldn't cost as much as a complete set of AC lift coils.
  9. Meh... You didn't hurt my feelings. I gotta go custom rear coils regardless.
  10. Naturally. But your Z will love you for it. I was in the same boat when I got the 7... Premium isn't cheap. But for a huge-ass car, it gets great mileage. Back on-topic, though. I think it's fair to say the higher the compression of an engine, the more likely it is to run on higher octane fuel.
  11. ^This. But it's a money grab for the oil companies. Which is why this won't change any time soon.
  12. Good news! Maybe Hilux/4Runner lift coils will work on the R50.
  13. I think I'll just bite the bullet and get OME HD coils up front and custom coils for the rear...
  14. Thanks for the info. OME should make factory length coils, though.
  15. This. I have a buddy working on a custom RWD D21 Hardbody with a SR20DET he's hoping to make driftable.
  16. Thanks for the advice but I'm already way past that point... Needless to say, I'm going with a hidden relocation kit. Will post pics when I get it.
  17. For the record, a lifted QX4 looks just as badass as a lifted Pathfinder.
  18. I bought my SFD kit for the '98 and paid about $500. 4-5" lift coils would be impossible up front unless you were to SAS. Good to know. Thanks. I am planning on Jeep coils but for the rear. So if I go with 4" coils in the rear, I can't add lift coils when the SFD is already adding 4" of lift up front; it won't be equal. What I'm hoping is 4" over stock, SFD up front with OEM length coils but stiffer than stock, and all suspension in the rear with coils.
  19. I think you mean coilsprings.com Yeah, I've debated contacting Kevin but I'm not sure if they would require a set of front and rear coils in order to make what I need. I was hoping some company out there offers stiffer OEM-length coils.
