  1. I gotta say the sand is nice, but on your rig, the red is just badass! That is so rare and it sticks out in a really good way
  2. $126 off Amazon? That's kick-ass! Thanks for the info
  3. Nice, thanks for the advice. From what I've researched on the JDM Terrano, the Neo-Di 3.2L is pretty much a direct swap save for a few minor details. It's just hard to find any actual info on doing the swap; everything I've read is just theory
  4. Whoa, that is badass! I'm bloody impressed you're rockin' 33's... What's the lift on your rig? Kudos to you my friend
  5. Went to Japan a few years back for school, and noticed how many rigs have diesel engines... it's nuts! The R50 Terrano from 1996-2004 always had a diesel option which is unfair because we never had that option here ever... it seems the Japanese keep all their autmotive goodies to themselves... ahem, Skyline GT-R, Silvia... But I digress. I've been interested in a diesel swap on my '98 since I picked it up. Has anyone come across this swap in North America?
  6. Castrol Syntec 5W30... Works wonderfully!
  7. I have a 98 Pathy but I'm not what triangular pieces you mean. The only pieces that come to mind are the fender flare extensions attached to the front bumper...?
  8. Damn spammers... best just to ignore that junk.
  9. Those look slick So I take it there were no problems with the offset?
  10. Lug pattern is the same (6x5.5) but I'm not sure about the offset... You said 40... mm I assume?
  11. Any idea what gear ratio the rear axle on the R51 is?
  12. Always good to know. Where were you able to find those bulbs? I have no clue where to look for them
  13. Dunno about any of this... I've been wondering whether or not I should do this to my R50 as well... Wondering if it'll be worth it. But I'd want to keep my 'raked' look so I'd do strut spacers and rear spring spacers, 1" both F and R.
  14. I concur... that bumper is just killer. In all honesty, your whole damn Q is just pure insanity! It is just suh-weeeeet
  15. That's a great idea! Thanks I'll definitely be doing that once I repair the damn rust What kind of sealant would this be, and is it available in stores?
  16. LOL I didn't sleep with anyone at NAPA but that's the price they gave me... My girlfriend would kick my ass if I began whoring myself for deals on parts
  17. I have uploaded pics of the rust on my R50... quarter panel repair is a kick in the teeth. I'm looking at about $600 for the right side alone The rest may have to wait till spring... Here are the links with the so-called 'target spots': http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...50/DSC07143.jpg http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...50/DSC07144.jpg http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...50/DSC07142.jpg http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...50/DSC07141.jpg http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...50/DSC07140.jpg
  18. Sweetness dood! R50s are the shiznit anyway Be sure to post pics as you progress
  19. That looks just badass! Nice work Was it difficult to get at the lights? How long did it take to do?
  20. Does it have fender flares? If so, get the owner to take them off and see if any rust has developed!
  21. No worries, glad to be of assistance!
  22. Year: '98 XE Lift : 2" Wheels : Helo Maxx8 (16"x8", 4" offset I think) Tires : Toyo Open Country A/T (265x75R16) Notes: No other mods, rubbing at full turn right or left... otherwise http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...er/DSC06564.jpg http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...er/DSC06573.jpg http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...er/DSC06610.jpg http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq242/t...er/DSC06612.jpg
  23. Even so, wheeling in deep water is a fun time to be had by all Having a rig that can go through that stuff really makes for some good times and wicked experiences
