The flex plates are different but will bolt up. There was a post somewhere of those differences but I have not been able to find if you saw in the last post. You wont need the sensor you speak of. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Forgot i was welding thin sheetmetal after switching from 1/4 in. Oops. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -
I know of only one person that has done it and Mr. Reverse may recall of it. For it to work, they utilized the Trailmaster lift it to drop the front and aftermarket control arms to clear the coilover and custom towers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

PPE all the way! Bought a full face shield and it saved my face. Grinder blade chipped and hit thr face shield hard. No penetration but left a nice dent in the plastic. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

1993 Pathfinder inner fender and core support replacement
Cuong Nguyen replied to Jmoor85's topic in How-To's
I highly advise you get OE Parts unless you want to settle for cheap thin chinese body replacement parts. Go to a junkyard and cut out what you need. I bought a cordless grinder. I had to go through what you are going through. Im using a cheap chinese core support and it is flimsy. The only thing keeping it from flexing further is the original middle support. Salvage as much as you can from thr original parts. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -

It would make sense to do a similar drop down bracket to match your front suspension. You could even do a 4 link or 3 link too given that that height due to the amount of lift required. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Sounds like a failing voltage regulator. He should have replaced it. It's super inexpensive. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -
I've posted a link somewhere in a couple of the transmission threads with the guys over in Australia working on a programmable TCU to improve shift functionality. The transgo and the superior shift kits firms up the shifts by redirecting fluid and increasing spring pressure.

Check the wire and sensor. My original was cut up and sensor was faulty from all the oil and grit covering it up over the years.

I am not familiar with later model TPS's but is the position of the sensor adjustable on the TB? Some aftermarket TPS are bad out of the box so it may take a couple to find a good one. Seeing that you are OBD2 you should be able to pull codes and pinpoint from there. Do you notice any changes with OD on and off? Have you verified fluid temp?

95 D21 Automatic, O/D doesnt work
Cuong Nguyen replied to Sbrowning0723's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Check your AT oil temp sensor and wiring If it doesn't warm up or senses it is warmed up, it will not shift into overdrive.....memory is hazy but it sounds logical at the moment. Also is the OD switch hooked up? I am not sure if it disconnected will display or not on the instrument cluster. Are you able to read any codes from the TCU? I have yet to be able to get any codes from my TCU through diagnostics. -
Bottom end rebuild ;) with extras!

I am assuming you reused your crankshaft? if show, when you removed it you should have stampings/and or color paint codes to indicate the original sizes used for your bearings. (edit) just reread and saw you're going the VG30 crank. Generally you get a reman crank, they're old crankshafts are turned down with oversized bearings to match. Did you check clearances when you installed the new bearings on the crank? that will tell you what size you will need. You buy the oil pump that matches the crankshaft, oil pick up tube and oil plan. I have a few bearings laying around from two rebuilds but they won't do you any good if you do not know what size you need. I purchased them through RockAuto but you can look at Ebay and Amazon as well. -
