well, I have a hitch at the back...there is one hole on each side of the hitch which would make for a good anchor, and for the front, I have the same bull bar as you, so a shackle there and the bumper lift shoud work ok... I'll try to take pictures this weekend... It will give me a good reason to finally try it... :-)

That should work with this.... I have bought it...but never actually tried.... I have tried though, putting the hilift bumper lift on a 3/4 inch shackle.. and it's a perfect fit... so for me this is what I have and I am sure, when it comes to it, I'll be able to make something work.... http://www.hi-lift.com/accessories/bumper-lift.html

I guess you could do it by eye or using a 'niveau' (french word for a carpenter tool with a bubble,etc.. ) but for the price my tires cost me, I would not risk it.... just my 2 cents.. But if your tires have already started to cup, then I guess you have nothing to lose....

You're right..Here's a good drawing that is self explanatory...

A good alignement shop should be able without problem to make it perfectly aligned. One set of bolts in the lower hole where the strut sits was all needed to make it work... The guy aligning it should be used to work with these bolts... At worse, 2 bolts per side should do the job... If it's still crooked, go to another place...really.... waiting will only screw up your tires...

funny I never liked the black on the outside...looks naked.. I guess I might change my mind after a few rock trails when I see the white all trashed up.... but for now , white outside ! haha

1.25" on mine, but for full flex you'll have to trim.... I guess you could try 1" and let us all know how it turns out..

After all your detailed explanation of the trouble , I would say your torque converter in the trans is acting up ... Have you done a good flush of your trans oil at one point ?? if you're not sure, try draining a little from the draining plug and look at the color. Anything other than clean red is not good... Also, to make sure that it is that, when you say after a long distance you stall, then try again to do a long distance and when you are about to stop at a red light, when you feel it's about to stall, put it in neutral... if it comes back normal then, It would confirm the torque converter.. Coulad also be a speed sensor that the trans uses, but that i'm not very certain of where to look...

I would say 1 or more leaking injector(s)... If it does it more on short trip, I would think the injector still let go some fuel after it has been shut off....On a small amount of time it is off, the fuel will stay in the cylinders not having enough time to sip past the ring, therefore the problem of smell and flooding... On long stops, the fuel most probably has time to go down in the oil pan past the rings.. One easy way on confirming this, is on the next oil change, drain you oil in a transparent container. If there is fuel in there you should be able to see it as it should form his own layer (on top or bottom) of the oil after it has sit a while... if you want , you could bypass this and go ahead with a leak test of the injectors...

Yeah I know..Once you learn that you have to shop by part numbers at autopartway, then you're good... Sometimes their description does not fit the part number (like hub), but those part number are always good... So I tookan habit of getting the part number from the manufacturer and searching at autopartsway ... If they have it, I order there... 97$ with free shipping...that's not a bad deal ! Also, I had to return a bad rancho shock to them at one point and they were good to deal with...

from which store ?? .. this is where I got my last set : http://www.autopartsway.ca/autoparts2/inde...er%204WD~241404 are you looking for the oem part number or empi ???
