  1. Ah my apologizes...i saw 1987 in your little profile thingy so i assumed you had an 87 pathy. but now i see you have a '01 with a 5speed.
  2. Its funny you mention that because one of my friends suggested the same thing...and i dont like the look of center caps. I found this site --> www.rockfordcv.com that sells high quality (at least from the site it sounds good) cv boots for just about everything. Depending on the condition of my joint, i will just order some new boots from them. Inboard boots is part # 166-23 and cost $13.52, while outboard is part # 166-21 and cost $12.93. Dealer wants about $50 for one boot!!! Just thought i would mention that if you looking at just getting a boot.
  3. debadge it!! personally i like the look of debadged. i kept pathfinder on there, but got rid of LE 3.5...
  4. thanks for posting this info...but i think it should be moved to the WD21 section...
  5. Yah it looks like i can fit a bigger tire when the wheels are straight, there is plenty of room to clear the strut, but at full lock the tires rubbed. And the next biggest size for the GY Duratracs i wanted wasnt going to fit (33's). Manual hubs will arrive next week... The entire grill use to be that plastic chrome, first i painted the emblem...then i painted the whole grill (sanded, primer, and lots of coats)...it looks ok in the pic...but its chipped alot from road debris. its only been painted for a year, haha, so it didnt last long. i like the look of the SE model grill a little better...i think its the honeycomb design...
  6. Deal! Do you have any pics of your pathy?
  7. Well well well...wheels finally got here today and i ran to discount tire and got the GY DuraTracs mounted!!! I LOVE HOW IT LOOKS!! I also took the mudflaps off but that was after the pics were taken...tires rubbed the inside of the flap when fully locked going left and right...but never rubbed the front of the fender...with the flap removed there is plenty of room. and i did also find a ripped inner CV boot on the passanger side...boo!! so got to fix that soon! hope everybody likes the pics! Tires are 245/75/16
  8. I could not stop laughing when I read this post!!! Definately the funniest thing I have ever read!
  9. that is a sharp looking civic. you also picked teh best color! my dads got almost 200k on his '01 civic. very dependable car. he just put a used transmission in it at 190k...thats been the only major repair for it. best of luck!
  10. to the forum!!! nice choices but i personally like the cragars, but are you sure you can fit 31" BFG MT KM2's with what looks like no lift?
  11. yah that is a sharp xterra...wheels and tires work perfectly on it!
  12. I am running ProComp shocks in the rear and so is 01SilvaPathy (He recommended them to me and they work great!) Yes 2 inches of lift makes a difference. If you get a shock that is too short, it will over extend the shocks(which equates to a very noisy ride driving on rough pavement). I drove like this on factory length shocks for a week before it bothered me so much i bought procomps. And on the other hand, you dont want to get a shock that is too long. The ones i bought are i beleive 29" extended and 15" compressed, which for right now works for me. hope this helps. check out my thread i posted earlier, lots of info in it.
  13. hey how far is Parshallville, Michagan from Valparaiso Indiana?? Is there anywhere to wheel in Michigan?

  14. no i am not too concerned about not being able to tuck the rear tire...it will work for me.

  15. i have an '01 LE and its just molded into the airbag cover like skulptr said can you post a pic?
  16. yah i just replaced all i thought was necessary. I cant wait until my Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs are mounted on my new wheels!! its going to look sooo good!!! Got tires ordered last week and will be in on wednesday, wheels soon after that It seems like this is taking forever!
  17. I am the second owner of my '01 LE. Have owned it since November of '07. Right now its my daily driver but currently i am looking for a daily driver so that i can make the pathy my dedicated offroad machine!
  18. im still game for buying a set from you... keep me posted with how it goes. Oh yah 100th post!! woot woot
  19. man it seems like everybody is getting a lift now! check out this link to my build --> http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=29594 one tip, if youve never dealt with struts before, i recommend taking it to a shop to get done. i was going to do my struts but decided to have my mechanic do it, hes got an actual spring compressor machine. i bet it was alot easier then compressing by hand, which had to be done for the rears. best of luck! post pics
  20. i had this same problem with a Blazer i use to own. Tear the door panel off and make sure the locking mechanism isnt broken before replacing the actuator. I had the plastic lock button that hooks on the actuator break on me before. If everything on the door panel looks ok, replacing the actuator should solve the problem.
