  1. To anybody heading to the Badlands remember to bring an orange flag for your rig. Happy Wheeling
  2. Yah one made for pathfinders from 4x4parts. but Rick13 said he didnt use one, so now i dont know
  3. I saw it on 4x4parts.com...it is $16 for the adapter
  4. i was looking into this a while back and you have to buy an adapter plate or holder because the factory one isnt big enough...
  5. Thats right. Its going to be quiet a show hehe
  6. haha i am not sure yet...Me and my Dad are still discussing the options. Probably his '07 GMC Sierra...or my friends '99 Dodge Ram...still dont know . This clunk is going to bug the he!! out of me...hopefully i can fix it before saturday! ahhhh
  7. As far as I remember, keep the 2 screws and plates on. I have manual hubs so i dont remember much of the auto. In order to remove the CV shaft you need to disconnect the lower A arm (i think?). One bolt in the front, and two in the rear. Once that is disconnected and lowered (stack up blocks of wood so that the arm doesnt fall to the concrete and ruin the balljoint), remove the 6 bolts that hold the CV to the front diff. then just pull the CV out. hope this helps
  8. I am so excited for this trip!!! Ive put more $$$$ into my pathy in the last 2 months than the whole 4 years ive owned her! if that makes sense
  9. yah i got a bunch of work to do to...just got my CV boots today, need to find some spare TRE, and last night i got my skidplate finally installed. Got to do an oil change too...oh the list goes on...
  10. Hey i might have 2 more rigs coming down with me. I know one is a lifted Ford F350 w/ 39's and the other i think is a jeep. Ill have to try and not give them such a hard time . My dad will be riding shot gun with me too, if he can get the days off at work...only time will tell. Tick Tock Tick Tock....the clock is counting down, 16 days!
  11. Yah my thread turned into a mess but there is lots of good info in there...
  12. Welcome! You found the best site for wanting to find out anything and everything about your pathfinder. check out this link to how i did my lift...hope it helps http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=29594
  13. hey are you heading to the Badlands July 16th and 17th?

  14. Me ready? NOOOOO hahaha Tomorrow i am putting my new front skid on and eventually replacing both front CV's. I have an issue with boots always tearing... And an oil change is in the future along with a transmission drain and fill. Oh an get a new tow strap and some D-ring shackles... I think that will complete the list
  15. Woohoo!!! its getting closer only 21 days and counting Slick, do you have King ready?
  16. thanks...ill be looking into this before my Badland trip in July
  17. yah thats what i thought the purpose of the manual hubs was...not to turn the front shaft. I just dont know why my boots are still tearing if they arent spinning... and i know my hubs are installed correctly...i checked to make sure that they engage and disengage properly...so im dumb founded...
  18. It always tears on the inner boot, right next to where the metal clamp is that seals the boot to the shaft. have you had issues? do you run with your hubs locked or unlocked?
  19. Is anybody else having issues with torn boots? my original driver side is torn as i stated above, and the CV i just replaced on the passanger side is torn now... ive only wheeled one time since installing the lift... any thought?
