"Use gear oil with LSD additive in the rear diff. You can use the same thing in front, won't hurt anything." That's what the dealer told me too, reagardless if it is LSD or not. And it seems that all the oils now have the lsd additive in them anyway.

if the tires are any different then the ones printed on the driver's door pillar or door then your actual speed will differ a bit from what you see on your speedo. If they are smaller then you are actually going slower then what's showing. My tk turns about 3k rpm @ 70mph. That's what my 89 did too.

could be any of the things you replaced. go over your connections etc... make sure they are the way they are supposed to be/were. Is the distributor cap on straight/tight...? are the plug wires snug in place? are they crossing? did you knock something else loose while doing the tune-up? that could be unplugged or ...
