    WTF

hmmm??? everything looks good from here..
  2. i would think so... just guessing though... there are a few terrano folks here so let's see what they may have to say..
  3. to do it on the fly you just pull the 4x lever into 4hi (semi low speeds (under 35mph)).. that's it.. no clunking no nothing.. to get it into 4lo you have to stop, then put tranny in N and then yank on the 4x shifter all the way down to 4lo... to dis-engage you don't necessarily have to stop (4hi only) but you will not unlock... to unlock you have to reverse 3ft (1m)

    WTF

looks like we made it through this one..
  5. yeah, the cv axles are binding when you turn them tight.. and i semi agree with geeky here but i am guessing he lives up north somewhere.. i only use 4x4 when i need it.. like in my neighborhood right now.. on the highway - no way..
  6. yeah, there was a bunch of them at the bone yard but they wanted a mint as i recall.
  7. iirc, the truck started running crappy when i disconnected the maf.. i think the rpms dropped.. i could be wrong. it's been a while since i messed with it.

    WTF

yeah. many of my other forii have gotten hacked in the last couple of month... just in case see you guys here: http://wd21forums.damagedreality.com/phpbb/index.php
  9. i agree, you want traction and power on those.. helps not to have to press the brake pedal.
  10. the second ones are referred to as legos.
  11. i feel the MTs are pretty awesome in the snow.. that's what i have and love'em.
  12. sorry, i didn't read it again.. hope someone else chimes in while i am thinking..
  13. lol.. could be just front end is a bit frozen and packed full of snow/ice.. glad you are having a blast..
  14. did you run diagnostics/codes on the ECUs?
  15. ok, i think those go with TBIs.. my 94 is injected.. regardless.... kind of what i was thinking anyway.. since you dis-assebled that recently i am thinking it's related to it but first did you try both ECUs.. maybe the new one is bad too.. it's possible.. otherwise you probably have a leak around the plenum. spray some soapy water on the areas around where you took things apart.. if the truck's running temporarily smoothens out then that's you found your problem..
  16. aha! you do work for exxon.
  17. could be the new seals.. sometimes they don't take.. either way, you'll have to dis-assemble. daumn
  18. welcome back.. good to see some old names back..
  19. :cool2: now you just have to experience a snowball fight and you got the winter pretty much covered.. oh, it get's even colder in jan and feb... smile.gif polar bear swim anyone? tongue.gif i went and played some last night.. had a good time.. at one point i saw 2 guys in a PT cruiser watching me and looked like they wanted to do some donuts too.. later, driving home i saw their pt crushed up on a power pole.. ooops..
  20. lol. not really. i can't remember where all that stuff is.. garage i am sure, for some but there are multiple tire/rim threads.. ok, what do you intend on doing with your truck? daily or offroader? ... is that better B?
  21. that's the spirit we love here npora..
  22. oh mr. zombie there is lot's of tire talk.. please look around.. it so depends on what you intend to do with your truck... all your questions will be answered when you look through all those threads.. if you have further questions though, do ask away.
  23. lol. yeah donutz! are fun.. did that last x-mass in a foot+ of snow from like midnightish to fraking 6am when everybody started to dig out.. it was a blast and not a soul anywhere.. when i finally started to see plows and one lone cop i went home.. since you have ABS don't pump the pedal.. actually just depress it.
  24. this is not really related to driving but have some extra clothes, some food and h2o in your truck.. never know when you might get stranded
