  1. I used to hunt down "free" subscriptions to a couple 4x mags, I'm sure the new resident of my old address gets more entertainment than I was lately though (if anything out of getting a magazine addressed to "Duke Soapington"). Now I just sit on my porch and look at WhiteOwl...
  2. I've personally used Herculiner brand, no personal complaints. Protect your Hootus during application!
  3. If like to suggest a hitch mount basket (if you have a hitch that is). I can secure 2 bikes to mine, or use it for firewood, going to the pick a part... Etc etc
  4. Not 100% your application but when I swapped engines in a past HB it was a 5 speed truck and the donor was an automatic. Automatic truck had a shim behind the flywheel, 5 speed did not. I think I still have the shim in a drawer And for the transmission shifter, my 88 5 speed has the shifter from a 93+ hardbody 5 speed but I had to change the plate that bolts to the actual transmission case. Hopefully I helped answer "something"
  5. Happens to all of us, and I removed the duplicate posts (and to others, pointless posts about multiple posts is not helpful or useful to the community. Either report it in the correct manner to a mod/admin or ignore it, wait for a mod to see it (which usually don't take long) and keep your (also deleted by me) comments about it to yourself.
  6. R50s, Canadians had more 'packages' than US spec ones. As for wd21 trim levels, it's just a sticker and what someone checked off on the build sheet. No real method to the madness other than the fact there's a "SE Offroad" selection on the forum here so people tend to pick that over their true trim level because it adds e-points...
  7. Sadly local here I'd go the exact opposite (year dependent). Opinion wise, current generation/design I hate the CRV. Not comfortable and very blind-spotty once I find a manageable seating (and that front end does absolutely nothing for me). Escape (now every one I've driven for any amount of time was a Platnum package), better seating, easier to see out of (I like the mirror setup better), styling is still 'meh' but don't have that overbite. Older generations? Most of them are rotted too unfairly for comparison here
  8. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/30159-nissan-to-recall-195000-pathfinder-qx4-suvs/page-6?do=findComment&comment=599948 A good ol 7 page discussion on this already... I already locked your other thread you started on this and am thinking of doing so here. A quick search would have shown you the coil is NOT recalled, te strut tower rot is the recall issue. And no, one will not and is not the cause of the other.
  9. Fwiw I ain't sure about the hinges/latch but on mine the seal was bad and in typical cheap nunya form I removed the seal from a frontier (someone took the match before hand and I wasn't paying for the whole glass if I didn't need it all and wasn't sure. Figured I could eat a couple bucks better than the whole cost). Warm sunny day, patience, and a little dish soap and the gasket fit the glass for mine.
  10. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/38284-cb-antenna-radio-locations-show-yours/
  11. The work involved to make a bumper style mount setup would start with making a bumper stout enough to hold a carrier, I'd personally probably keep hunting for one from a r50 to begin with, one of those ones that mounts in a receiver hitch, or a built (or build yourself) bumper with one integrated. I'm all for doing stuff on the cheap(being in cheap) but sometimes a project can surpass the price of taking an easy way out (purchasing done)!
  12. Sad thing is I have taken pics and 'started' a write up for this like 3-4 times but never completed the thought as I would get sidetracked (I switch back and forth between both style front ends)...
  13. though is have to say I'm on the same page. Probably warmer than you and have plenty of code reader access
  14. Please use one of the other 4 threads you have made for your continuing problem. Here is the link to your last one http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/39538-update-on-my-evap-problem-did-i-finally-get-it-right/?fromsearch=1
  15. Super mod? Far from it. Using the excuse "I searched and didn't find anything like it" annoys me as if you clicked the link I posted you will find plenty that are "just like it". I understand your a new member here and are excited to be part of the community, but don't use lame excuses just because you want to make a bunch of new threads or are some post count collector. Yes, our search function here ain't the greatest but it does still work (and there are some tips pinned in the "new people start here section"). Remember, this community is run by volunteers and we are all humans. Some of us have particular things that irk them. You unfortunately found one of mine. If you have a problem with me or my view of it, please feel free to pm me about it and we can civilly (I would hope) discuss it. now where you basically openly admit to pocketing unpaid for things from yards on a public forum... whether you mean an alternator or 3 fuses, that is something you may want to think a second about before clicking enter although I'm sure it was 'just meant for a laugh'
  16. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?app=core&module=search&section=search&do=search&fromsearch=1 There are plenty of people who make 'junkyard' threads. Do you search the word tomato or something man? And no, we don't "all" pocket stuff from junkyards, some of up openly walk into the pay office of you pull it yards with our tool bags open to happily show we are only leaving with what we pay for. That being said I have gotten many parts for myself and others here from both you pull it yards and pay-and-have-it-handed-to-you yards.
  17. What it's worth there's plenty of people on here that no longer own a pathfinder. a full on delete ain't necessary but is available (and as stated, posts/topics will not be removed for flow and fung shwey)
  18. If you don't have extra pieces, you did it wrong! Seriously though, I'm on the "accessory bolt" team.
  19. Cuong Nguyen I belive did a 2wd to 4wd but went stray to SAS as well... Might be worth searching his threads/posts here some or maby sending him a pm
  20. I'm taking donations... It won't make any difference to your truck though
  21. That's what you get for being on the right side, not the left! I should probaly look and see what the predictions are for here for the next couple days before opening my mouth, huh?
  22. Blazers mirror said 59*F when we went for lunch earlier, phone sais currently 52, but how much can you trust what a domestic and an app on an iDorks tells you...
