Ok, so this is a "confirmation" post. Use the linked PINNED post already covering this topic to keep info in one collected place. I am closing this thread.

Not to intervene, but not the place to discuss NPORA/the facebook affiliation (or lack there of). Let's keep it focused on Jim's ride we can make a different thread discussing that alone if necessary. Wait... Since when do I play any voice of reason?

Are you asking or telling? If asking, yes all r50s have the same 6x5.5 lug pattern (same as a wd21, though stock r50 wheels would have issues on a wd21 due to back spacing differences). I believe some pre-facelift r50 wheels won't fit on post-facelift due to brake clearance but larger later wheels should have no problem clearing smaller brakes. If telling, it may be a post more fitting for this thread which is a pinned thread about wheels/tire size/etc for r50s http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/19867-max-tire-size-vs-lift-kit-used-vs-custom-or-oe-wheels/page-10?do=findComment&comment=752576over making a new thread

I'm doing my water pump on Saturday, any tips / guides?

You forgot beer! Don't rush, make sure the gasket surface is clean before install, after refilling if possible park your truck on some form of incline with the front end being uphill (don't need to be a mountain, just not level). It will help with bleeding air out of the coolant system (I've never used the bleeder on the upper hose on mine) -
You coulda just bought WhiteOwl and had 1/2 the stuff done already Keep collecting parts man, you'll get it where you want
-
That looked like work! Thanks for finding and sharing Taylor, I'm sure it will be a good asset to not only yourself but any other Z24 men and women here present and future

I agree it could have been catastrophic, fortunately it wasn't. I know the think of a hitch hitting the ground and how it can make someone jump though (the one on the 4Runner came apart-though not the frame falling apart). A wood chipper and a hasty hook up caused a tragedy locally a few years ago, I realize reality of it is it ain't a joking matter
-
i laugh because I can picture it from past experiences with other trucks

Could be tempting for a toy but I have no time for extra toys right now (part of why I'm liquidating vechiles). May be reliable but when stuff does break, how quick you going to be able to get parts?

You get a mule too?

Put a second 's' in the 'desert' wording and always drive around with an ice cream cone! -

People are still plasti-dipping? Only people who ride around 'dipped' are old women who think they are 20 -

Add a gallon of gas, quick bath, shiny tires and out with the pink window marker

Pulled the battery this morning, left the key on all day yesterday and didn't feel like dealing with it when I noticed. Slap it on a trickle charge...

I've been through a couple KA powered Hardbodies before WhiteOwl, with a 5 speed on 31s they definatly wernt exactly powerful (I'd rairly use 5th unless it was a long downhill on a highway and I was drafting a tractor trailer)

I ha e a FB, am your friend on there (last I checked) and still didn't know about it (I don't pay attention to it enough). Congrats on stuff going right and the new tribute rig. If you still want a 2 door project, I can set you up with a deal!

Proof the search function works! Cue someone complaining about the threads age and me deleting it!

[UPDATED 05/09/15] Automakers to gearheads: Stop repairing cars
nunya replied to RedPath88's topic in General Forums
I may be currently burnt out on working on my own crap but you try to lock me out of something I paid for you can be dam sure I'm gonna jailbreak it if I want to... I'm just too lazy (I've been putting off jail dealing my PS3 and Wii for over a year) -
"JGC"=Jeep Grand Cherokee, I'm on my phone and being lazy or I'd link you to one of the threads on how this works (basicly a certain set of front coils from a V8 Grand Cherokee used as rear coils in a wd21). Rough Country arms can be bought seperatly from the kit last I checked (call and give some BS story about an accident or something) but they actually don't provide lift, just correct ball joint angle so you can align the front end after cranking the torsion bars. Speaking of torsion bars, there's a thread on here about re-indexing them as well
-
Sure but they come with the rest of a truck plus! (depending on how long he sits I might pull them off and sell seperatly. You mean the guards I assume?) Actually put the signs on today too, he's officially on the market.
-
It's bitter sweet honestly. Other stuff just took priorities and I know by time I have the time and money together again it will be too late (the whole 'leave it sit-goes to sheit' thing). Even once he leaves my possession, this place won't be able to get rid of me though. Well, technically there ARE ways...
-
Unfortunately. I don't have the time for him anymore and would be a terrible tragedy to let him sit as a lawn ornimant and start to rot. Rather see him move on and get love back than me be greedy and let him waste away
-
Drove him to work this morning, getting ready to clean out my crap, collect the extra stuff that's gonna go with him and build myself to accept putting the old black and orange on...

One can only hope it lives on even long after the Internet dies!
