  1. Take some polaroids and get out the scissors! Kidding of course, there were a couple vids on youtube with some cut 2 doors I remember seeing, I think there is even links on here somewhere to a couple of them.
  2. http://store.topguncustomz.com/storefrontp...amp;i=166812616 3" wd body lift $89.00-2" $79.00 thought it might be worth putting up
  3. My lighting comparison is not verry fair for the Pathy end, a blind person aimed the original ones. Having owned a number of Hardbodys before getting my Pathfinder, the parts were verry easy for me to find, including multipule grille choices. The sealed beams are easy to aim as well(using normal bulbs, not H4s that is). Like stated the H4 conversion opens up more choices but can be a Pain depending on which housings you get to aim.
  4. With just standard sealed beams there is a noticable difference when aimed correctly, with H4 conversions and non-overkill bulbs they are a notch or 2 better. Overkill bulbs would proably be excelent but I don't think the factloy wiring would hold up the greatest(saying from experience with my Hardbody melting a plug or 6 out of it plus wiring at multipule locations and 1 headlight switch which could have been just age)
  5. Having a bad day, not the first time today someone indirectly tried to make me sound dumb and it's not the first time today I had to defend my words. So I am sorry if I was at all rude or hurt anyones feelings. As for doeing a write up on it, I would if there was more of an interest than there seems to be in doeing the swap. If it is truely wanted I will get my camera out and do it again on my parts truck. Once again sorry to anybody offended by what I have said.
  6. I know, I didn't say it was hard, did I? I better check what you quoted again. And to be correct you also need A flathead and phillips screwdriver(for grille and marker light removal) and a way of correctly splicing the sealed beam plugs into the Pathy wiring, unless you like to just twist stuff togher and tape it and call it perfect. Plus you need to know what all pieces to get off of the doner Hardbody. So before trying to make someone look dumb or inexperienced you should include all parts of the facts not a quick comment that is a little bit too general.
  7. either way you have to do the d-12 Hardbody conversion and sealed beams.
  8. Can't verbally say pathy for some reason as well, normally just call them by their chassis code, stems from calling my Hardbody a d21 from the hatred of actually hearing them called Hardbodys. Fine typing it, just not saying it.
  9. The most common things I see for EVAP small leak detected are 1.gas cap issue 2. rubber part of filler neck not installed correctly/tight 3. Fuel pump float assembly not seated correctly 4. rotted metal part of filler neck. Thats the problem with OBD II multipule things set off the same code, I wish I had a nickle for every good o2 sensor replaced because it had an o2 sensor code and a quick on the draw mechanic. And is the gas petal thing supposed to flash the engine light or reset the change oil light on a gm? I can honestly say I have never heard of that one.
  10. If you only had a ka instead of a z, and were a little closer, I could have given you a complete head, I really just don't want to go through trying to ship one though, I AM kind of lazy. As for the helicoil idea- they hold spark plugs in heads on Ford Triton v-10's, thats what alot of dealers have been doeing when they blow the plugs out of the motor.
  11. I AM used to hitting my head off my hack job 2.5" tailpipe when I'm under mine, could be what got me confused

    Idle rpm's

Heck mine thinks it's great I have a complete extra truck at work in case I need a motor or something, that and I think she wants to be the one to sawzal the back off if I get the ambition.
  13. Pipes look a little small to me, but that could just be me. No matter what though, it's your truck so you do what you want to it.
  14. Got my start in my 91 Hardbody, following a friend in his Wrangler on the way to camp. He pulled a left where there was no road and I young and stupidly followed. A broken rear shock for me and he blew the top off his battery somehow. From then it continued, when the block cracked from driving with a bad head gasket dumping water into the poor little 200k 2.4l I bought a 93 HB 4x4 as a temporary ride so I could keep goeing. Found a 93 2wd with a doner motor(another 2.4l), put the 91 back on the road and sold the 93 out of state so as to never see it again. Proably the only one of my cars that didn't go from me to the crusher. Recently the frame finally fell totally apart on the 91 and I finally got me my Pathy(which is what I always wanted in the first place) and life goes on just the same.
  15. I was saying impact due to the round socket style scars around the edge of whats left of the bolt head
  16. Lube, patience, and a little persuasion(and I don't mean a hammer)
  17. Looks like someone took an impact to that one
  18. Lube it up, it will not be that bad.
  19. Did mine on the ground as well without an issue, just didn't think far enough ahead to get a creeper until I was half done. To each their own how thy decide to tackle it.
  20. Keep your hopes up, one will find you, thats how my luck was 2x.
  21. Looks good, color is not my flavor(I personally HATE burnt orange, reminds me of metallic rust), the stripe helps tone it down for me. They the Fabtech fenders by chance? Was looking into them when I was redoeing my Hardbody years back but couldn't stand the bedsides so I scratched the idea. That and I think you could only get fiberglass, and that was NOT goeing to happen. Be real cool if you could figure a way to bulge the quarters out to match, more room as well as front and rear matching.
  22. I am looking for a dark purple or a black cherry color, may actually be one of the ones considered pink figuring how I don't look deep into things.
  23. You have any other color choices besides the ones listed on the site? And do they still have the .com or the .net?
  24. It is the old "to each their own" debate. My Hardbody that was the predicessor to my Pathy was no show stopping piece nor was it a sky high SAS beast. The work I had into it may not have been much to some people but it still still out from every other Hardbody I have ever seen(proably one of the only ones in my area at least with a frenched plate into the gate, I thought it was a mini truck at one point when fixing the frame the FIRST time and putting new panels on it). I was (and still am even though it is in pieces at work) proud as can be of it and the time me and my frieeds had into it. Just as I am proud of the time I have into my Pathy even though it is not extreme by any means. Everyone is getting too excited over this, not everyone is goeing to like the same thing.
  25. Verry well flowing truck, nothing looking out of place. If only I didn't have a hatred for OBD-II equiped vechiles. Otherwise I like it.
