  1. I echo the same as Slartibarfast when it comes down to the plug, as I have to jiggle the connector when connecting my Launch scan tool to my 2001 R50 Pathfinder. Otherwise, it can't read things, 12 volts are also present when this happens but still able to get connected by jiggling the connector. Chris.
  2. Hello Sabastian, I may be able to help you to source a replacement sunglass holder for your overhead console as I am always at my local junkyard pulling parts. The latch is apart of the compartment its self, so you can remove the overhead console and replace the holder which will include the latch as well. As for the o2 sensor, did your scan tool give you the trouble code? Chris.
  3. As an R50 owner, we are always looking at things not so much for what they are but for what they can be, which makes the rig a bit more fun to work on. It would be nice to see how things hold up. I do appreciate your views and support. Thanks again Chris.
  4. Ir08, hey at least it was a simple fix, but I would never recommend using Moog products as they have been known to have fitment issues too, just saying. Chris.
  5. @ryjaytay38, I always say "when in doubt look again" that's often when we find the root cause of some of these issues. Sometimes walking away and taking a break helps too as you've just proven. I'm glad you were finally able to figure it out! Chris.
  6. I too echo the same as R50JR, changed mine out about 7 months ago with some of the cheapest ones I could find on RockAuto, and I haven't had any issues.
  7. Yes, on page 2-34 it states not to load the luggage rack with more than 100 lbs. I'm sure some of our fellow R50 owners have more than that on their luggage racks, as to how much weight you can get away with putting up there I'm not quite sure. I have seen others mount a rooftop tent and awning without having an issue. Just try to be mindful of how much weight you're adding up there that's all.
  8. I recommend using this tool https://amzn.to/3TxoIXe used it on my personal R50 works for rear coil springs too!
  9. Hi guys, I also have been curious about this as well. I was just looking through the owners manual for my 01 R50 and on page 2-34 it states not to load the luggage rack with more than 100 lbs. Looks like you will be a little under that so you should be fine. Also, consult your owner's manual for confirmation. Altho the illustration in the owner's manual looks more like a 96-99 R50 style luggage rack. I hope this helps
  10. Hi guys, I might be able to help as I do come across these type of luggage racks at my local Pick A Part Yards in my area here in Las Vegas. Just DM me if your still in need of said parts.
  11. Sure just remove the inner fender liner for the driver side of your R50. min12.03 of this video shows the"Path"you've been looking for. I hope this helps??? Chris. https://youtu.be/Q8Bipz2Cjz4
