  1. 2001 pathfinder 3.5 So, apon the first start up of the day it squeals, initially it would just do a fast squel then instantly stop or for example if I park at work and hours later start up to go home it does it also but if I run to the store and get out 30 minutes later start it up I have no squel. The belts appear to be in good condition I don't see any cracks. Now the squel is lasting longer and sometimes it takes about 45 seconds to a minute to top or I have to physically drive a bit for it to cut off. Any pointers or thoughts would be appreciated.
  2. Yeah I'll try that I was trying to avoid the dealership was hoping someone had an answer or even a length for the r50 transmission strick.
  3. Never thought I would have to ask this but when I bought this 01 pathfinder it was missing the transmission dip stick and I'm wondering if anyone knows the part number or if it's the same as the oil dip stick? The only thing on any site I'm able to find is the oil dip stick. I ordered something from a tesca auto about 3 weeks ago that said transmission dip stick they still haven't replied to me and apon looking them up they have a one and a half star review so I'm assuming that the part will never come.

  5. Yeah I noticed one of the sensors is significantly longer than the other I'm assuming the downstream one is the longer one being that it's further from the engine. I have a lift so I plan on replacing a lot of things but for now just focusing on what's throwing codes. Just learning a new car, I'm by no means a mechanic but I do like to know as much as I can about the car I'm driving and how to repair it.
  6. It did although I don't know it off the top of my head it's my dad's scanner. I bought 2x sensors from 1a auto both up stream and down stream.
  7. So I'm new to the pathfinders it's and 01 3.5 and I'm having two small issues. First is the overhead sunglass holder latch appears to be broken and I can't find a part to replace it. Second I ran an 02 sensor code now my computer doesn't register which sensor it is only which bank. The bank is bank 1 so I'm assuming that's going to be on the passenger side I bought the upstream and down stream just to be sure to get the correct one. My question is since it has 4 O2 sensors are the downstream and up stream the same for each bank? Like if I wanted to replace all 4 would I just need to double up on the order I already have? Thanks for your time.
