I added the thickener and nothing happened. Everything has been fine besides the normal slip between first and second gear which has felt worse but I’m not sure. I decided to do some research and found out that it’s a “common” transmission problem with this certain transmission. I don’t know anything about transmissions so would somebody be able to translate this into something understandable? I get the concept of what it’s saying but what would be the procedure? Cost? Help? Lol

I see, thank you. One last question, where would be the place to wire through the firewall if I was wanting to add the new switch over to the left of the steering wheel where there is an open button place holder?

Do you have any more pictures of the light bar? Like the back end where it’s bolted on to the crash bar? Also, would a light bar with the mounting brackets on the end work? I know you recommended the type where the mounting part is on the body of the light but I found a good deal on the other style.

What would need to be done to make the 1st gen fit on a post facelift?

275 are 33’s right? I went with 265 because I know with 33’s there’s a lot of cutting that you need to do. There’s a thread on here about fitting 33’s. I would search it on goggle and then put npora after

Around here all the girls want SUV’s like 4runners or anything that resembles a Jeep so I think it’s funny that most of my compliments have actually come from girls. My girlfriend actually liked my pathfinder so much she got her own. I always catch her staring at hers when she’s walking away from it lol!

I don’t doubt I will need a transmission in a year or so but i was hopping to get that before it craps out. It shifts perfect when it’s cold and I start it and drive away but in a couple minutes when it’s warmed up it slips when going into second gear it’s been like that ever since my brother which is, odd any answer to that? Don’t they make an app for a Temperature gun? About my brother he’s 21 and gotten in 7 crashes had 4 vehicles totaled and 3-4 tickets... he’s dumb sometimes. I love him but dang he’s not the best at driving.

The shift itself was itself was tough, not the lever and it was only from reverse. I’m going to check the fluid in a little bit. I’ve had this vehicle for almost 2 years now. So today after work I got in my truck right after driving it to a work site and when I started it up it was fine but I got in and put it in reverse and when I put it into drive it was tougher than usual but I was slightly rolling back so I didn’t really think much of it. Then when I was starting to accelerate I pushed the pedal and it did nothing at first then slowly kinda started speeding up but quickly and then revved to 3k and lurched into third. What does this mean??? ^That happened the other night Tonight I was driving around and it happened again this time worse and I got home and when I restarted it my overdrive light flashed for a couple seconds ... I think if I remember correctly the overdrive flashing has to do with the transmission. What’s going on?

Looks like fun! I’m 1 inch lower in the back and I hate how it rides. I think you could’ve made it across but I’m not sure, definitely don’t want to get stuck alone! I always get a stick if I’m not sure about the depth

Got it, yeah I’ve only seen 4 lifted Pathfinders in my town and have only seen them a couple times. I want to get them on NPORA!

That’s odd because I’m only the second owner and the owners before me were an elderly couple so I wouldn’t imagine them taking them off. Those aren’t there, they’re just two little holes and mounting holes for it.
