Weird? Mine takes about 2-3 minutes from a cold start to warm up and usually have from change it from back and the bottom to just the bottom because it gets so waem and it always makes me and passengers sweat
-
If you got into a front end collision would the bar crush the grill and hood?

In my opinion, I’m not the biggest fan of them only because it really has no real life application

I think this picture will help give a better idea

Early sign of blown head gasket?
joshrichard replied to JackFletcher's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
It was actually a guy... he mixed up the two caps apparently thinking the washer fluid reservoir was on the engine in his Mini Cooper[emoji1748][emoji3603] -
Jealous, this looks so fun!

I agree. Since I am in Highschool I have come to find out that basic knowledge about engines is something that 8/10 people don’t learn. Most people around here don’t even know how the check their oil... -

This thread reminded me of this.... -
I’d be very interested in this type of kit. My 1-2 shift is harsh and it said it would soften it up. I searched and I couldn’t find a Transgo kit?
-
No plates?

Yes, thank you. Would definitely rather go that route. I know how meticulous those two are with their rigs

I’ve had that 65° thing as well! Only once and I was so confused. I’m gonna have to order a fan clutch soon as well. Looks pretty straightforward. Are you doing this yourself?
-
Interesting... how would someone get a hold of those?

My trailing arms are pretty donezo, any recommendations for them? Should I replace the sway bar bushings with poly bushings?
-
Squeaking in the back during acceleration, Sway Bar bushings or lower trailing arm bushings? It used to do it only when it rained but since the lift it does it everytime I hit a bump or everytime I accelerate quickly which makes me think both. Should I replace the sway bar bushings in the rear? I read people using polyeurathane bushings?

I just checked and I guess I have it. I’ve never realized that section though [emoji848]
-
Yeah I don’t have that over heating section, but that’s exactly where mine sits as well. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it higher
-
Weird... I can’t see it on Tapatalk
-
Mine is on the right but I don’t have a section for overheating and I have a lot of little lines for measuring the temp. I will take a picture after I get out of school
-
I’m confused about your temp gauge... does your instrument panel look like this

Front wheels spin... help understanding the 4wd system
joshrichard replied to Mattmill91's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Yes -
Also, my temp gauge is always below the halfway as well and it never goes higher than that

You have 2002 LE right? That’s comes with the RE4R01A transmission... are you feeling hard shifting in every gear or 1-2? To me it sounds 100% a bad fan clutch. I would replace that either way because that has had been said to have a big impact on gas mileage. I’ll be low on gas as well and only put 16 gallons in idk... The fuel lines must hold a lot on these trucks.
