  1. @RainGoat I just realized that a while back you directed me towards Desert Rat located in... Arizona I think? Well I was searching the website for AC springs for the front. I know that OME and AC are ARB, but again im confused. I was looking for the part number on 4x4parts.com which didnt help because all they have is the stock keeping unit. My question is, does Desert Rat sell the 2 in AC springs? they have a list of part numbers and the discriptions are very vague, not telling the amount of lift, or if its for the front or rear; only specifiying whether its for the R50 model and whether it is Heavy Duty or Medium duty.
  2. mine personally didn’t quit but got pretty dang close with leaking tranny fluid being what sent me into selling it. it would get stuck in neutral when i was in drive then catch at like 2-3 grand and make the whole car shudder and wouldn’t change gears above 1st without a huge thump. after turning it off at night then starting again in the morning the car would be fine with only hard shifting. i had a thread somewhere about it but i also had the RE4R01A. Only lasted 130k miles then would go on and off with that problem until i sold it at 139k. Weirdly enough@buttercup is at 199k and the tranny runs so much better.
  3. of course the engine would be inside the car lol but great display of how it works. the work needed to be done ends at 14 mins, very easy if you just slow down and keep track. also at 18:26 in the video, you’re staring directly at the power valve screws, there is 2 for each gold power valve. @raingoat this would help when trying to explain the procedure!
  4. Did you end up using the camber bolts that you stated you bought? I needed them for my spacer lift, but I know with springs they arent as necessary
  5. The guy sold the rims today before i could meet him [emoji1475] i’ll be on the lookout though
  6. i never tried because i really didn’t want anything to happen, but other than that my mpg went up about 1-2 depending on conditions
  7. I liked the manual hubs on mine when i was just driving around town and on the highway. during a hard rain i would just lock them and use the auto mode
  8. yeah he’s gonna let me try them on, they’re coming from a chevy so hopefully i get lucky lol
  9. gonna go check these out wednesday. 16x8 6x5.5 w/ 3.75 backspacing. excited to see if they fit, they’re a good price and local
  10. funny enough, you’re one of the closest members to me that isn’t a part of the midwest. I have family up in Michigan, maybe we can work something out over the summer!
  11. i’d definitely like to hit some trails, i’ll message you when the time comes closer. As of now i plan on staying in boulder, and trail-wise, most likely the easy trails but the difficulty will be dependent on the weather.
  12. planning a trip to Colorado from March 13 -March 20 (2020) definitely doing some wheeling but not a whole lot because of all the snow. Are there any pathys that reside over there?
  13. around what time are you thinking for sure he trip?
  14. i’m interested, kind of a longer drive for me but not crazy far. i visited the blue ridge mountains a couple years ago and it was beautiful. would love to meet up with some more pathfinders as well!
  15. I’ve had the opportunity to drive both DBW, and DBC back to back, and the biggest difference i’ve noticed is the touchiness of the wire. i’ve never had a problem like what you’re stating and i had been in 4lo plenty of times. though the overall responsiveness with the cable felt much more controllable throughout the pedal while off roading.
  16. Yeah, i would do what@slartibartfast said, as long as you hook it up to a monitor you can wire it so that you just push a button on the screen for the camera to turn on
  17. If you ever pass through i’d love to show you parts of the national forest! currently just a center locker; the off camber sections when i had two wheels in the air were fun
  18. Yeah i’ve floated the Buffalo many times, it’s awesome! this is actually a creek that forks off from a part of the Buffalo, the blue water is a refreshing change from the murky water in the surrounding areas. My family and i camped in parts of the Ouchita mountain range, we’re really lucky with the amount of diversity near us
  19. i’ve been on and off about buying wheels, looks for this truck isn’t as much as functionality. Rhino lining wouldn’t be a problem, my family has been rhino lining our trail vehicles for years. definitely going to lift it soon, but have some more pressing issues to resolve before the lift.
  20. Deep into the Richland Creek Wilderness Area, AR
  21. tightened and torqued down the 4WD spindle nut and the clunk in the front is gone!
