  1. I want to protect my axles as long as I can as well
  2. The only thing is, i’m ordering the parts for my 2 inch lift. The manual hubs ate turning out to be a pain because i don’t want to pay $200 for the rugged ridge even though they’re the only ones that will fit on my rim and i don’t know if anybody that has used any knock offs or if they even work at all
  3. Thank you, this cleared everything up perfectly
  4. So my dad and i are arguing about whether or not I need locking hubs with my 2004 Nissan Pathfinder All-Mode 4wd system with the auto feature. He is saying that it has electronic locking hubs so when I put the vehicle in auto it locks the hubs which is what makes it different than 2wd he says that’s why it gives the truck the extra traction. I was explaining that even in 2wd my vehicles hubs are still locked which is why people get locking hubs. What he is saying is that I won’t need locking hubs because we don’t know anything about the nissans auto mode and 4wd system. Can somebody explain this better?
  5. I could only find those ones for 3/4 inch lift, is that the highest OME goes? i know they have a 1.75 on another website but i think those are 160 a piece if i’m not wrong?
  6. in the description it says that it provides 1/2-3/4 inch lift, I was wanting 2 inches but hear the AC could ride very rough. would i be able to fit 265/70/17 tires with this lift?
  7. I’m having trouble finding these, do you have a link?
  8. 1 AM here, yikes. You’re always lurking somewhere around here to help haha, but thanks! tomorrow is going to be the day i order the parts for the lift, decided to go with AC all around
  9. What is the difference between the spacers and the springs in cv axle positioning? Wouldn’t hey technically be lifting it the same way but with different objects? I’m asking because i’m in the process of buying my lift and would like to know why the springs result in better cv angles, thank you.
  10. Would you recommend AC spring in the front and LR in the rear?
  11. I have the tx14 and from what i’ve read the 4WD light will turn on during long trips? I understand how the hubs work and to never put it into 4WD before locking the hubs. The light doesn’t bother me because they said that it doesn’t actually affect anything. Has anything changed or is there more information known about this?
  12. I was in Johnson Shut-Ins over the summer, beautiful. Our family owns tons of land in Black, MO.
  13. Hmm my dad used to work for International and he said those things were super rough
  14. I’m wanting to do the AC springs in the front, do you also have problems with top out? I’m wanting to combine those with the land rover springs in the rear.
  15. The only thing that confuses me is that they have trucks in and out of that shop all day, all working with lifts and other things, I think he just knows nothing about these trucks. I actually live in Nixa, MO. About 45 mins away from Branson, and 10 mins from Springfield. We’re moving up to Kansas next year.
  16. So earlier today I went into a “trusted shop” that deals with lifting trucks, bumpers, lights, etc. When I went in to ask them about lifting it they said they weren’t sure and would have to check. After checking their store catalog they said that since their manufacturers don’t carry parts and lifts for them then there must be something stopping the truck from being lifted. I explained that many people use spacers and or springs, and so I then directed him to 4wheelparts.com where it shows the AC springs and says camber bolts recommended and must have wheels with certain offset after getting them, i don’t remember the offset exactly but it says it in the description of the 2 inch springs. He then said that because it is IFS getting it aligned would be difficult and it would just eat up tires. Also, he said that there would most likely be vibration in the drive line. I get what he was saying but wouldn’t a shop like that be able to get the alignment correct??? Does anybody else have problems with vibration in the driveline??? Just want some answers from guys who have done it and experienced it, thanks.
  17. Nelica actually used the 9446 and the 9447 is the one that Micah used. the 9447 is .5 inches smaller than the 9446, but Nelica accidentally wrote he used the 9447. yeah confusing
  18. I have had a bungee chord for awhile now[emoji23]
  19. Code ran cylinder 5 misfire and after looking around, the ignition coil was done. ordered the part today and it comes in tomorrow!
  20. also, i’m taking it into the shop probably today was just wondering if anybody else has had these issues
  21. So this isn’t my car but one of my friends, and he was driving to school this morning when the car started shaking and the engine light started flashing.... yeah. I’m guessing a misfire, maybe a clogged fuel injector (don’t know where to check on these and haven’t looked yet) i haven’t ran the codes yet because it happened 15 minutes before school and I had to run and pick them up. Any suggestions? places to start?
  22. I can’t decide whether to go with 9447 or 9446. I would like to be level with 2 lift in the front, although i wouldn’t necessarily mind some rake. I just want to know what springs would be the closest to 2 inches. I read that the 9447’s are .5 inches shorter yet Micah got 4 inches? thank you!
  23. I’ve done it already! I read over it a couple months ago, and did it immediately. Thank you for the help on the O2 Sensors as well!
