  3. MAN! i called around town yesterday and the garages in town want $1000bucks to do the timing belt and H2O pump! i couldnt believe it! buncha scammers!
  4. very nice job. ive been looking for a used roof rack and other parts for my pathy for a long time. i was going to buy a brand new rack when i realized my timing belt is due soon. this is a job that scares the hell outta me. the only thing different i would've done is have a separate 'master' switch for all the rack lights. Here the cops don't take kindly to off road lighting; last thing i would want would be an accidental blinding. I REALLY liked ylur 'fuse block' placement. I just picked up one myself, and have been pondering where to mount it. once again. nice job. peace brotha al
  5. i have a 92 Pathy that i'm thinking of converting the rear interior into a camper for the summer. has anyone done this? any recommendadions appreciated.
  6. my ODO turned over to 199000kms last night. sticker under the hood says the last timing belt was changed at 112000kms. should i change my belt now or wait a few more kms?
  7. has anyone used the 3" AArms from 4x4.com? https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=142 they are reasonably priced, but i was curious to know if anyone has had any issues with them.
  8. nice rack. however i wouldn't pay that.
  9. try a cheap screw down one from chinamart,... err.. i mean walmart. mine cost be about $5. peace al

  13. 3500lb max? Dang! I wanted to pull one of these...http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/houses/lusby/ i guess 5400 is a bit heavy... i might have to give up my pathy peace al
  14. i have the "gutter" mounts on my roof(don't know what else to call em), but can't find a set of crossbars anywhere.
  15. years ago when i had my yota, i was pulled over by a cop for not having covers on my 6x9 lights. i asked the cop if he'd let me go if i duct tape over them on the spot, and he did. Apparently, here in bc its' a big thing thats enforced. the next morning i went out and got a few covers. as for the fogs? i see people using them all the time, whether the weather is good or bad, and nothing is done, so i guess its ok. peace al
  16. will the aftermarket calmini a arms be enough for this kind of lift on the front?
  17. holy cow! when i saw this, i almost passed out! so,... when can u make me one for my '92? LOL! peace al
  18. here in canada, a place called princess auto sells all kinds of premade 2" receiver mounts. i think they might have a plate that would allow a winch mount. Using a 4000lb could be a bit risky, even with a snatch block rig. If you're really set on using it, make sure you get an experienced 'wincher' to show you. something else, a safe thing to do, is drape a floormat over the cable with the tension on it, so if it gets away on you, there will be less chance of the cable 'snapping up' and damaging you or something. and PLEASE stand clear when the winch is under load! best of luck to you. al
  19. guess im just being fussy. i dont like the idea of "side mounting" the filters, because i don't want a mess when changing filters. when i actually get around to it, i think ill be looking for a place under the frame. i figure if im down there to pull the pan plug.. i might as well put the filters down there somewhere to speed up the work. peace al
  20. nice find. GREAT PRICE! been looking for a grill/light bar for some time. best of luck with your mounting! peace al
  21. I chose the duel for better cooling/filtration, however because of limiting mounting options, i'm kinda wishing i had bought a single! peace al
  22. Nice duel install Pathrider. I would really like to know where you attached it, and what kind of braket you used? I really like the 90 degree hose adaptors? Not sure what kind to get. Also, after all this time running with this setup, does it cause a mess when you change filters? Have you noticed any oil pressure changes? What are the yellow sleeves on your hoses? I have a duel filter kit, and am currently thinking of installing it somewhere by the frame, but i am afraid of damaging my filters when off roading. Any thoughts? cheers, al
  23. Nice find. Finding a grill guard in vancouver, is like finding a pathy with no rust! LOL! Very rare find here... nice catch! peace al
  24. so which headlights throw the most light? Has anyone compared this? I'm also interested in seeing before and after pics when the new grill is installed. ty al
  25. Hey Yozi. Where did you get your winch from for $280? Was it by net/mail order or a local order? Did you order it from Smittybuilt or MM direct? thanks al
