  1. I was getting about 500kms a tank in the summer. Now I'm at 430-450 kms on a good day. Pretty cold here as well. Where are you located?
  2. Check your front driveshaft and your front diff. I'm having similar issues. I replaced my front driveshaft u-joints and it still vibrates. I looked at so many things and couldn't figure it out. I took it to Nissan and they told me I need to replace my rear driveshaft u-joints. I haven't had a chance to do that yet. I'll update you if I feel difference. If it doesn't work, I'm leaning towards something in the front diff or transfer case.
  3. I thought the 98-04 Frontier and Xterra wheels had a lot more positive offset. They sit inside a lot more if my memory serves me right.
  4. I'm guessing there will be a lot of trimming going on if you're trying to fit some 33's with a 2 inch lift.
  5. I'm in for some more information on this.
  6. You're either packing more weight than he is or his suspension is in better shape than yours was before you installed the springs. I was running 31's before my lift and I went from 32 1/4 to 35 inches and I ended up settling at 34 3/4.
  7. Not really sure... Mine were KYB Excel G since they have replaced the GR2. I would look into it a bit further.
  8. Unfortunately, they don't offer HD rear springs. I got a full 2.5 inch lift all around with HD front and MD rear. I find it odd that you ended up with that little of a lift in the rear.
  9. Sounds like there's something wrong with your strut bearings maybe. Did you guy compress the springs before putting on the hats? Is the rubber insulators in properly?
  10. I'm running camber bolts right now but I'm a bit iffy on offroading hard with them since they're a lot skinnier than the original bolts. I'm probably gonna go ahead and offset the top strut hole.
  11. I would go with OME springs and I would avoid dealing with Rocky Road.
  12. I had a chance to use my TJM recovery strap for the first time. I must say I'm extremely impressed with it. You can't even feel the thug of the other vehicle being pulled. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes compared to regular tow straps. I would recommend them to anyone. Definitely worth the $75 I paid for it. Next on the list is the TrailHead tire deflators I ordered and maybe a new compressor in the near future... Here's a video of Janseman in the snow
  13. Some pics from today. Me and Janseman went out with 2 friends that have 4Runners.
  14. I road tested it without the front shaft and the vibration was still there.
  15. I got around to checking the front driveshaft today. The U joint beside the transfer case had a flat spot in it so I went ahead and replaced it. It hasn't changed a thing. I'll try to make some time to check the wheels and rear driveshaft tomorrow or Monday. I'll report back here. I might just go ahead and replace the rear driveshaft u joints since I will take the shaft out anyways.
  16. Have you had that problem Fleury?
  17. I'm looking for a bit of guidance on this issue. I've have a vibration between 45 and 55 MPH. I actually had a vibration before that but I've narrowed it down a bit. When I first bought my truck it needed a bunch of maintenance and some parts replaced so here is what I got done so far: New Springs New Struts and shocks New front lower control arms and ball joints New rear lower control arms New front sway bar links and bushings New tires (last week) Alignment (last week) I ran the truck on the hoist today and the right rear wheel and tire seem to bounce more than the others so I will be switching it with the spare to see if it helps. The vibration is felt in the whole truck and it gets a lot worst when in 4Hi. I can feel it in my seat and in the steering wheel. I checked the wheel bearings and the driveshafts and I can't see anything obvious. Any pointers or suggestions?
  18. Starters are easy to replace. I just did mine a few weeks ago. Had the exact same issue as you.
  19. Yeah they do, but its made for the rhd pathy and has a notch in it for the antenna. I think the Safari one looks a lot better.
  20. I like it! If it wasn't so much for shipping I would get the same ones. How long did it take you to receive them from RRO?
  21. Looks great! Does it have and extension or is this normal length?
  22. I just noticed how similar this build was to my last Pathfinder back in 2006-2007. I had OME suspension (MD front and rear) KYB shocks, Double Din Nav (Alpine W205+Blackbird2), BFG TA/KO... Interesting This time I'll take it up a few notches...
  23. Here's the link gearshop.ca The website is down for maintenance/construction.
