  1. Just received my parts...FULL control arms with bushings and ball joints mounted and ready to install for $37 CDN. I can't believe it. Can't even get the ball joints for that much...let alone the time I'm gonna save on the install. WOW I'll post pics later...
  2. I highly doubt it's the CV. Sounds more like a power steering or suspension problem. I would check the sway bar links and the steering system.
  3. I'm planning on does the same thing...since I broke the muffler off the flange. I think I'll go with 2.5 inch tubing. Any parts store should have flex tubing of that size. Take pictures of your setup and post them when you're done.
  4. I'm getting them from Altrom http://www.altrom.com/cdn/partscatalog/par...partNum=1010752 I've talk to the guys @ Altrom and they seem convinced that those control arms come loaded with balljoint and bushings...I'll see tomorrow when I get them!
  5. Has anyone replace the front control arms instead of the bushings? I just ordered the full right and left control arms instead of a set of bushings. It sounds too good to be true but they quoted me about $40 each side including the ball joint and bushings for parts only! I just thought I might as well replace them while I'm doing my lift this week.
  6. Have you used it in deep water yet? Do you have any pics of your engine bay? Thanks
  7. Can the dealer tell you which gears you have and if you have LSD if you provide them with the VIN of the truck?
  8. Well I ordered OME springs from Rocky Road a little while ago and I'm still waiting for them... I've confirmed with ARB that they have it in stock. Anyone else has those installed on their truck? Thanks
  9. I have a 3.3 and I would say the VQ would be better just for the fact that you get more power for the fuel mileage!
  10. where do you guys order your OME springs from? I'm getting mine from Rocky Road. As anyone ordered from them yet? Any feedback? Thanks
  11. So you hook up the fan to a manual operated switch that's always on unless you're crossing some water? Makes sense.
  12. So if you're driving in water, can it potentialy damage the fan?
  13. Nice setup...I didn't have the patience to wire the antenna to the roof...
  14. I'm looking into buying an ARB Sahara bumper for my truck and I would like to know how durable the finish is? I live in Calgary and they put a lot of rocks on the road during the winter! I want to make sure it's not gonna start rusting and chipping. Anybody has feedback on those bumper?
  15. looking forward to the same kind of setup...I wanna see what it looks like!
  16. So that's where it went!!! thanks Pezzy
  17. I don't know about Pathfinders but I've seen fan clutches grenade on BMWs (I work for a dealership) and it's not pretty. I would do it if you're in there anyways...just for peace of mind!
  18. With the rain storm we're getting in Calgary since last night...Snorkel would be useful right now
  19. As long as it mounts i'm good. I just can't find the TJM anywhere here in Canada, so the ARB is the only choice beside a custom bumper.
  20. I like it a lot! I'll just take it easy until I get everything waterproofed...
  21. I'll keep an inflatable raft on the roof bars just in case LoL. I'm surprise I made it through that "puddle" without hydrolocking... I just enjoy water more than mud. I'm not going to take it as far as those guys!!!
  22. I've installed mine under my Pionneer deck...there's lots of room under the deck behind the cigarette lighter...I've put my antenna on the dash in the right corner by the windshield...never cuts out for me...just didn't want to wire the whole thing outside...Have a look at the little antenna in the picture!
  23. The only problem I find is that even with the snorkel, I will be limited on how deep I go because of the electronics getting wet...I guess I'd have to water proof everything.
