  1. I wonder if the inside of the headlight lense can be buffed to a smooth clear surface???
  2. OK ... I guess this is not working! I'm NOT looking for the corner lights. I am looking for the headlight itself. The headlights on my 97 Pathfinder don't have a clear see thru lense...they have a bunch of line patterns in the glass. The headlights I'm looking for have a clear lense like the ones on the newer Pathfinder.
  3. The headlights themselves. Mine are glass but not see through. See pic. Thanks
  4. I've come across a few pictures on the net of some Pathfinder (Terrano), most likely located in Japan, with clear headlights. I broke my driver side headlight on the weekend and I'd like to replace it with the clear ones for better visibility !? I tried google with many combination of words and I still can't find anything. Here is a picture...hopefully someone can help!
  5. I ordered my OME springs from Torasport.com . The lady taking care of the orders is extremly nice and shipping took about 1 week. I paid 327$ CDN for the springs including shipping. Unfortunatly they ship the springs directly from ARB USA in Seattle, and they ship only using UPS. UPS was good but they charged me 80$ for taxes, duty and brokerage fee. But even with that it ended up cheaper than the 520$ I was quoted locally. For the Shocks and strut, I ordered locally thru local parts supplier. I didn't need a camber kit. Got an alignment done and they adjusted the toe...that's it. As for the spacers...I'm waiting to see if the front is going to settle anymore than that. As you can see in the picture above...it's pretty level. I went for a trip on the weekend with 5 adults in the truck + all the gear and the truck was still sitting level and it drove perfectly.
  6. Sorry...found the info in another thread...Thanks anyways http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...gears&st=40
  7. I have a question regarding diff gearing ratio. I have a 97 SE with LSD in the rear. I'd like to know if there is a specific option that automaticaly gave the 4.63 gearing ration? Did the automatic transmission give a different ratio than the manual one? Where is the gearing info on the truck (plate)? thanks
  8. keep us updated...I still have a clunk over small bumps and I've replaced nearly everything in the suspension. It's driving me nuts
  9. got any pics of the engine bay/inner fender works/new routing procedures? Thanks
  10. It was the ground wire between the engine and the body I believe! Not sure thought
  11. Check your ground wires. It happened to me and it was a bad ground wire...can't remember which one. They tend to get oxidized or just loose. Hope this helps.
  12. I've got a broken taillight on my 97. I was looking on ebay to pick up a replacements and some are listed 96 to 04 and some others are listed 96 to 98. They all look the same...are the connectors the same after 1999.5? Thanks
  13. ^mine actually looks a lot better than that
  14. My passenger side driveshaft was broken at the outer cv joint. I replaced it in about 45 min. The fastest CV axle swap I've done so far!
  15. Finally got my stuff together! I did OME HD front springs with KYB GR-2 struts and OME Medium rear springs with KYB GR-2 shocks. It lift the truck about 1.5 inches. Ride is really good, little stiffer than stock. Here's a picture of it now.
  16. XPLORX4 What kind of headlights are those? JDM HID? Love them so much
  17. Well I installed my OME HD front springs and Medium rear springs + KYB GR-2 front struts and rear shocks today...Not as hard as I though it would be (with a hoist and a spring compressor). Took me about 5 hours...very happy. Also found out I have an LSD rear diff
  18. I'll do that on monday...just wondering if it's better to go form the outside of the hub or the inside?
  19. Well...I took apart the front and rear suspension to do my lift today and I completed everything really well. When I drove the truck out of the shop there was a pretty bad grinding/popping noise coming from the front right. I looks like the driveshaft is not sitting in the hub/flange properly and it's all crooked. Is there anything holding it in the flange that might've broken when I was swapping the suspension? Do I have to take the strut out again or can I go from the hub/drive flange to fix everything? Thanks
  20. I'm mostly trying to replace the control arms and the ball joint...does look like there is much room to slide the ball joint out without the axle being out of the way. The service manual says you have to remove the axle first! I might just wait a few weeks and do the control arms/balljoints when I get the brakes done...take everything apart at the same time.
  21. Is there anyway I can bypass taking the axle off the hub to replace the control arms?
  22. I'm running some Bridgestone AT Revos and I love them. They are 31x10.5x15 and they fit well with my stock height suspension..plus they won't look ridiculously small when I lift the truck in the next few days!
  23. I don't see how they are adjustable! Maybe they are built with different specs?
