Wow, that's awesome! I can't believe nobody's found this kit before! BDS is a local company and tons of the local Jeep guys run their stuff, so I can definitely vouch for their quality. It's too bad they don't also make heavy duty coils, or else I'd be ordering in a heartbeat! And in terms of other things you'll need, there shouldn't be anything. Just be prepared to get new swaybars links while you're in there in case you notice one is worn out or, like me, you have to hacksaw one off. And I noticed you say "soon to be 33 inch tires". If that's your goal, I'd just like to make sure that you understand you'll need new wheels and won't mind cutting the fenders?

SFD is the only way to drop the diff, sorry to say. 2.5" of lift shouldn't have done that though. It's more likely that while installing the lift you accidentally disconnected something inside the CV's which caused them to break as soon as they rotated. Make sure you hand-test rotation before driving the vehicle when you put a new shaft in.

Yup, they're definitely wrong about that, lol. If you want 4" (or really anything from 2" to 12" depending on how much you want) you can build an SFD following these instructions: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/31584-my-pathy-project-lifting/ For 2 inches, you can do a coil lift from 4x4parts.com (commonly called the AC lift) or a spacer lift, which can be found on eBay and for sale by a forum member (fleurys) at sfcreation.com. I have the lift from sfcreation.com and it has been great.

But anyway, the big question is: how big do you want to go? The most common lift heights are 1", 2", 4", and 6". There is also the question of budget, which determines factors like coils vs. spacers. Another important factor is the condition of the stock suspension; if it's totally worn out and needs replacing anyway then spacers aren't the way to go.

Depending on how much stuff you feel like taking off, you may need coil compressors for the rear. Also, pay careful attention to the brake line and diff breather going from the chassis to the axle, kind of obvious but a pain if it comes off and you don't notice. For the front it helps to have a buddy, but it's possible to do alone.

In that case, sounds like those are the springs for me! Considering I will have so much weight on the front end, would it be OK to keep both spacers in the front?

It says they give 1/2" - 3/4" of lift over stock, but I assume that's the measurement without the rated 110-220 lbs applied?

I believe in this pic CDN had 33" tires and a 6" lift, doesn't look too bad IMO....how would road manners be? This has to be a DD, only has the 4.363 gears (and I'm not interested in re-gearing right now), and I like to cruise at 80, but I'm willing to compromise on that last one. I assume with that much rear lift getting the sway links to reach just isn't going to happen?
