  1. You guys are forgetting subaru...id get a subaru legacy
  2. Thanks guys..I couldnt have done all the mods I did if it wasnt for you guys help. Thorleys next since I can easily access them bolts now.
  3. Thanks for the quick reply guys...check the oil and no coolant there....temp stays steady and the coolant is level however my water pump is making some weird noise...Ill replace it today and the TBelt Driving it last night it drove the same and no lack of power How do I burp the air out? Im going to flush it again today so I can pull the radiator out to do my TBelt and water pump. Would a blown head gasket make the engine run rough too coz mine runs just the same after it overheated on me. What else should I look for besides the water in the oil and white smoke to determine that I have a blown head gasket?
  4. The 12MM bolt is on and thight. The smoke went away last night but this morning when I started it back up theres a little coming out still...Ill check the oil...Could it be that I used undiluted coolant? I forgot to mix it 50/50 with water
  5. Before doing my body lift the other day I decided to completely flush my radiator. After finishin the lift and filled up all my fluids I decided to take it for a test drive and about 10 mins later it overheated on me..Pulled over at walmarts parking lot and decided to check the rad and carefully opened up the cap and it sure was hot. Bought a couple of gallon of coolant and filled it back up, I have the motor running while I was filling it up and I noticed that theres white smoke coming out of my exhaust pipe and lots of it. I immidiately turned the motor off and waited another 10 mins. Started it back up with the rad topped off of coolant and my temp gauge went back down to half but theres still that white smoke coming out... I decided to just drive it home and that took another 10 mins of driving but halfway home I decided to stop by a gas station to check and see if its still smoking and it wasnt. Could that white smoke just from the engine overheating? What I did to fluish my rad was Open the drain plug on the rad Took off like a 12MM bolt on the engine block on both sides, drivers side just below the alternator and pasenger side just behind the power steering pump loosened up the pressure release After all the fluid was drained I thightened the pressure release and the drain plug Filled the radiator back up Did I do this properly?
  6. Thanks guys..Looking at the front bumper mount on the chasis it looks like I wouldnt be able to mount another bracket on there.I could probably use the top bumper mounts but above that theres nothing to mount another brackets to
  7. Well folks thanks for all your tech advices on doing a body lift..It wasnt so bad at all...finished it in 3 hours and another 4 putting all my hoses back in and re checking everything...just have to figure out a way to mount the bumpers on . Now I can also see all the bolts for the manifold 3+3 33X12.5X15
  8. Any trick on remounting the bullbar after doing a body lift and raising the bumper guys?
  9. Hey guys what color is the factory amp turn on lead on a 1993 pathfinder? If someone has a wiring diagram please post I really need to get my deck hooked up tonight Thanks fellas
  10. Got it done...Real simple with the proper wheel bearing lock nut tool. Luckily I asked you guys first about this coz if I wouldve followed stupid haynes manual I wouldve been screwed on the torque spec. Thanks again guys..
  11. Thanks for that real helpful post man
  12. Hey guys I just did my cv today and to my surprise it wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. 5 hours for both sides. But while I had everything in the drivers side axle halfway torn apart I decided to replace a stripped stud on my wheel hub. Is there any other bolts holding the hub to the rotor? I took out all 6 bolts and I thought that the hub will just come off but I was wrong. Looking at the haynes manuals exploded view, After removing the hub assembly theres a wheel bearing lock nut that looks like it needs to come out??? Another thing is once i get it out would it be a good time to repack the bearings with high temp grease ? Thanks fellas
  13. Wonder if that can be mounted underneath the radio where theres a pocket? Can somebody take the measurement on those please. The pitch muight be off by a few degrees tho
  14. Thats the site I was trying to recall...Simon has just posted one on his website ..Thanks guys
  15. Thanks for the reply guys.Im going to try to configure the hub assembly.I might have put BRAKE A on backwards. or maybe its BRAKE B. I was able to see the exploded view from courtesy nissan site but its too small for me to determine how those 2 BRAKE cups go If you find it Greg id appreciate it if you can post a larger exploded view. Thanks fellas
  16. Does anyone have a exploded view of the auto hub (90-95)? I replaced my wifes hub with the one I took out of my 93 pathy and today I decided to try the 4 wheel action and the darn thing isnt working properly. For some reason even if its on 2 wheel everytime I put it on reverse and start driving forward it will make a grinding noise and a loud thud maybe its locking??? I could not reference the hub on mine coz I already replaced it with a manual hub. Im thinking of putting a manual hub on hers but knowing my wife she would not get out of the truck to lock it if needs to. The question is, will it hurt anything if I just lock it for her all winter and just show her how to shift it on 4HI in case she needs to get better traction? Another thing is on her 94 theres no indicator light on the dash when its on 2 wheel but on my 93 theres that little green indicator lights when im on 2wheel drive..a member told me that as long as I know what drive im in that indicator light doesnt really matter Thanks fellas
  17. Casey ill stop by your house and show me how its done since I have a 93
  18. Thanks red...got it replaced ..i need to put the plenum back in tomorrow morning and while im at it I might replace some of the hoses that looks real old. Also found out that the vacuum hose that gets disconnected all the time when replacing plug 6 is cracked. Thanks for the help guys
  19. Thanks for the fast reply guys. Yes the spark plug wire still connected ghost. I knew youd come thru for me simon:D ..So its just like the plug configuration...1-3-5 on the left side looking from the front and 2-4-5 on the right? Rearmost would be the closest to the firewall right? I shouldve asked you guys first and saved me the trouble of removing the plenum..I thought for sure its 1-2-3 from the left(pass side) and 4-5-6 right side (driver side)thinking that the number 5 injector is the one directly below the plenum. Any suggestions on what I should do in there while I got the plenum out? Thanks again guys
  20. hey guys need your quick assistance please. Im trying to replace my injector No.5 and does anyone know which one it is? I looked in the service manual and it doesnt give me the injector numbers. Youre help is much needed ..Thanks fellas
  21. It sounds cool tho sucking lots of air You can easily pick one up at autozone or skunks.Just bring your maf and match it up. The wholes arent going to line up.Make sure you get one that has that extra half round cutout and dont get the true square one on all sides; I found a perfect adaptor at a local carparts store here but unfortunately it has a 4 inch opening. Its made by finish line part number dap-479 Does anyone know if K&N makes a filter in 4inch opening coz I would like to upgrade my old one
  22. Thanks for posting the bolt lenght and pitch spolar. Is that a typo for 6 bolts? isnt it twelve on there?
  23. I have no plan on getting a superwinch...Partsbin has the warn for under $100 but the part number is for a chevy 19 spline. Im just going to get the warn locally for $142
  24. I also found this place where its cheaper but the part number they have is for a chevy. warn premium hubs
  25. got it snug and thight. What I did was centered the bolt on the elongated hole on the hoop.I thought for sure that it should suck the gate in when the hoop is moved all the way towards the front but it made it worst so I kinda moved that hoops back and forth and kept trying till I get it to where its thight...Nice and thight now:D
