  3. Our outdoor adventure to Cherokee National Forest Tellico Plains, Tn. Went to Bald River Falls, Holy Flats Campground and fish Hatchery. It’s a 6 mile gravel drive that’s curvy and straight up. Put the old gal in 4 Hi. She never missed a beat. #onespiritbrain She finally got a little dirt on her Lol #R50obsessed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. One more of her clean bro and then your gonna crap your pants with the next pics. Here I had just finished painting the cowl in the front. I think that’s what it’s called. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I appreciate it brother. I had a guy last week offer 2K in cash. I think I can get a little more than that. I’ve worked my ass off on this thingI couldn’t get rid of it. If I came across a good deal on a Q 45 I will trade it I’ve actually been looking at the Q 45 really want one I’ll keep the QX4 trade the Pathfinder if I can find the right person. 6. Refurbished the front clip on my 96LR50 including radiator support. I’m really happy the way it turned out. Not bad for a 24 year old vehicle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Good luck buddy. If using tape the green 3m 401+ works best in my opinion. The better tape job will totally reflect the paint so take your time and you should be ok brother. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  8. Painted my grill. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  9. Sears Craftsman timing light is a great one. Of course since Sears is no more all Craftsman tools are made over seas so quality in my book is way below standard. I've had this one for almost 10 years and never had any problems. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  10. Welcome to the best Forum on the web!!! Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  11. Common sense tells you where it's at. In line with the other 2. I've never had any problems with the #6 luck I guess. More problems trying to get the wire off than getting the plug out. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  12. Here's my video on 3.3 #6 plug removal. Hope this helps. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  13. I would recommend removing radiator. Just unbolt the a/c leaving at least one bolt stuck in as to relieve stress on the hoses then when need be you can pull it out of the way to get timing cover off. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  14. Its definitely worth it. GL if and when you do go in. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  15. Finally heard back from the service writer after leaving him 20 messages it seemed like. He was really nice and very concerned he seemed to think that maybe he can get my seatbelts ordered without me having to come back in just for him to tell me they have to order them. He knows what color I need I'm just waiting on him to let me know so the wait continues. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  16. Cam, crank seals, thermostat and coolant bypass hose. Probably need a puller to get your crank pulley off. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  17. That's BS. In my book it should work 10 outta 10 times. They just didnt want to do it because there not making any money per you the customer. I'm still waiting on the service writer to contact me. I left him a message last week. I'd call Nissan North America and see what they say. You have to stay on them trust me. I had both fronts replaced on my QX4 without any trouble at all. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  18. I'm still waiting on the service writer to let me know whats going on. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  19. I tried going the route of calling Nissan North America to get them to rearchive my VIN. As many of you know most if not all R50s are not in the system. Every time I've had Nissan put my VIN back in the system the service writer at the dealership cannot pull my VIN up on his computer they cannot make me an appointment to get the seat belts flxed. So I called Nissan North America and Toad them the problem I was having and the lady told me if the service writer can't look up your van and find it in the system to give her a call back and she will call the service writer. The service writer was a fellow by the name of Todd I don't know his last name didn't catch it he was really nice he told me that he was going to be calling Nissan North America to get to the bottom of it and that I shouldn't have anything to worry about. That was 8:30am this morning EST. I recall the service writer saying something about Nissan warranties seat belts up to a million miles I've never heard of that. I had my QX4 seat belts replaced back in December of 2018 with no problem Infiniti/ Nissan LOL Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk

  21. Been away for a little bit. Here's my 98 2wd 5peed August 2016 on top of Mt Roosevelt Scenic Overlook, Rockwood, Tn. Sad thing is shes long gone. I sold her to a good friend and he didnt even get a year outta her before he blew it up. Didnt know anything about it till months later. He could have made some of his money back, but never let me know she blew. That Pathy got me into obsession with the R50. Damn do I miss her. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk

  23. Hey guys my Q finally produced the leak behind the distributor. As a lot of you know this is a common problem over time. There's a number of things it could be and doing a pressure test doesn't always give you the location of the leak as in my case. I should've replaced all the hoses and gaskets back when I done the TB/water pump/ valve cover gaskets, but lazy me didn't and now I'm paying for it. My leak was coming from either intake bypass hose or temp sensor housing. Very hard to tell. I also needed to replace my knock sensor since day one. I was actually gonna do the easy knock sensor move and noticed antifreeze under the front and plans changed. In a way kinda happy cause I didn't really want to do the knock sensor unless it was done right anyway. As far as gasket/hose kits what do you guys recommend? I want to replace whatever needs to be replaced while I'm in that area. Thanks hope everyone is having a great year so far. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
  24. Sorry for the late reply. I think it came out of a late 80s early 90s Maxima. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Tapatalk
