  1. Lol! I ran around trails in stock form too when I first got my rig. Those were the most eye opening days. Got into trouble that I thought for sure would catch me but the Pathfinder just chugged along every time. The rest is history! Bottom line- Come on out and have fun!
  2. No worries. There are a range of rigs and capabilities within the group and nobody is left behind or not considered in event choices. Its no fun if everyone cant enjoy it, right? Dont underestimate the stock Pathfinder! They are pretty capable and will surprise you.
  3. Welcome! I think you'll love the LR springs. I couldn't be happier with mine. Super grateful to @Bax03SE for bringing these to light Like @RainGoat mentioned, we are lucky here in the PNW with a solid group of active NPORA members that continues to grow. There is a potential for a December gathering/trail run. Not sure where/when its going to end up but would love to have you join the next meetup.
  4. Yup, I think its standard on LE models.
  5. Junkyard or used. I found my unit on craigslist. Old, never installed with a wiring kit and ball. Uhaul brand class III.
  6. Sounds like a start. What about you. @poachr? Is moses lake doable?
  7. Alt issues are indicated by this series of lights ( AT oil temp, seatbelt, brake, battery, check engine) while the engine is running. https://imgur.com/a/8r0Zf
  8. Great! Where are you coming from? A quick look on Google maps shows maybe Moses lake and and the adjacent sand dunes as a possible location btwn the east side of the Puget sound and the Spokane area @Slartibartfast
  9. Yup, I saw a factory equipped facelifted R50 on my commute not too long ago. Assuming it was from Canada but I didnt see its plates, scrambled to try and catch a photo and failed. The swing gate is subtly different from the early R50 units.
  10. I didn't realize they were WA residents. Lets organize another event closer to them im the future. Christmas tree run? @Slartibartfast @poachr
  11. Location has been changed to : McMenamins Anderson School 18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell, WA 98011
  12. A front Lokka is a super easy install and the best bang for your buck when compared to any performance enhancer you can throw at a 4x4. Hands down. $300+/- for a whole new beast is a steal. If I could do it all over again with my truck I would have done the Lokka first.
  13. Dropped the transmission to replace my rear main seal and gaskets on the coolant crossover pipe. Crappy job for sure. Big thanks to @ferrariowner123 for the help!
  14. While the primary reason may be to correct suspension geometry I'd argue that another massive benefit of the SFD is access to the 3.5 VQ and its accessories. I dropped my transmission and in the process had to work all around the motor, including removing the starter. I have no idea how somone would achieve simple repair work, like replacing the starter, without tearing apart the whole subframe or removing the front differential. With my 4" SFD the starter was a fairly straight forward job with just a hair of extra of room to wiggle around in
  15. PNW folks are gathering this coming weekend with a dinner/meet n greet tentatively at XXX Root Beer Drive-In in Issaquah on Friday. On the latter half of Saturday there are possibilities of a night run off the hwy 90 corridor near North Bend. Anyone interested please check in here as things could change depending on turnout.
  16. This probablyapplies to the 5165's as well.
  17. My 5160's appear to be rebuildable but im not sure how I would pressurize them either. The shock body and reservoir have circlips on the lower side that are removable, and im assuming used for servicing. If anything they can be sent in for warranty service from Bilstein and switched at that time.
  18. Looks like you had a blast! Not too much smoke from the fires either? My 5160's were for an early 2000's Ford F series truck with a lift. I think if I had gone with a set that was for a less lifted spec it would have been perfect. Maybe bilstein can provide the flex line with 90° fittings on both ends by itself? We'll get you setup@RainGoat. There has to be a model with the 90° fittings for that ride height. Might just have to contact Bilstein and ask.
  19. Nice job! You guys knocked it out! Love the use of the coin drawer. The arrangement of the underhood hardware looks like an option that could have come with a "Field Base" model Regulus. You two did a great job. Good to hear you're happy with the setup. It's not as plush as the OME's but, paired up with polyurethane all around, on and offroad performance are great with the ride feeling tight and sporty. Looking forward to hearing about more progress and some trail time
  20. Yea, Bilstein kinda deceived buyers with the shown billet clamp on advertising and product info pics. I wasnt aware they only supplied the band clamps until I got my shocks and opened the box. Somewhat pissed at the deception I made my own reservoir clamps and removed the Bilstein badging. If you're interested in a custom set of clamps let me know. Thanks man. I was in the same boat. When i first joined @hawairishwas one of the first profiles I binged on. He is a great source of knowledge, experience and talent and super nice guy to boot.
