  1. Nope, it's just military inspired in the sense that it uses the modular system for pouches, but I've never seen anything like this is any army vehicles. I like it to prevent wear and tear on my cloth seats and store the little loose stuff in there.
  2. Looks like it would be in great shape. But hefty price tag.
  3. Not custom, nor "fittet" but this is what I use and I like it.
  4. Just to make sure as this just occurred to me...the Service Engine Soon and Check Engine Light are the same, No?! Because my SES comes on and off, never had a CEL (with the little motor block image on it).
  5. Theexbrit!!!! he Liiiiiiiiiives!!!
  6. Evap related....go on....I'm listening
  7. My CEL comes on and off by itself in what starts to appear regular intervals. I just ignore it as I know I've just recently changed the oil and am keeping a close eye on all other serviceable fluids. Maybe yours will go off by itself too. Could be a more common issue...
  8. 66000 miles on my '99 R50 That's 107000km, which we all know is the true universal measure of distance. LOL
  9. I have MM manual hubs and have zero complaints. Easy to install, perform flawlessly and they look good In the winter I leave them locked 24/7 as I need to shift in an out if 4x4. In the summer they are unlocked unless I hit any trickier trails or mud. IMO, anything that helps prevent unnecessary wear and tear is a good thing! My vote goes to, DO IT!
  10. Good to know!! That might tip the scales to keepin what I got.
  11. That's exactly right!! I removed the carrier today to respray it as a bunch of rust spots became visible where the initial spray didn't reach. It's crazy how much higher it sits without it, I forgot how much lift I actually had lol. So the springs will hopefully keep me at this 2" lift height. I found someone looking to trade 32's for 31's. If I like the condition of his tires BFG MT's, then I'll swap up. We'll see...
  12. Yeah I picked up a very narrow funnel for that reason. That covers my transmission fluid, and by the looks I will wait until it's no longer red. Is there a way to test the differential fluid, other than draining some to see?
  13. Ordered LEDs to swap the gauges and center console out, and ordered another (this time the correct - for those that have been keeping track) set of OME rear MD springs.
  14. Can it be refilled through the dip stick?
  15. I'm looking to change my transmission fluid but before I do that I wanted to ask if I still should change it even if it is still pink on the dip stick? Does it even turn black with time? From YouTube videos it looked black. The thing is I don't know when it was last changed. Any advice? And where does it get filled back up? That's the other question I couldn't find a definite answer to so far. Thanks
  16. Thanks for that info, saves me a lot of heartache. R51's must weight a heck of a lot more because these things are massive!! I emailed rocky road, see what they say. I could mail them from Maine I don't see why not. And next time I'll have them shipped there too probably. Or I'll just bite the bullet and pay the man again. These won't be an easy sell I don't think as I don't see a lot of R51's around, let alone modified ones. At least I found out before I started tearing into this tomorrow.
  17. Hawairish is on the right track. I paid UPS shipping to Canada., which wasn't cheap, plus a decent money grab from customs. This means returning them would cost another shipment and receiving the MD ones would mean another set of customs. I will be out a lot of money for something that was supposed to be rather economical. Sooooo, combine that with my stubborn personality and a seemingly incessant need to learn things the hard way, I might just see what I can do with this. A spring is a spring after all, right?! LOL this is what they make power tools for haha
  18. I see, yeah if you go to Rocky-Road http://www.rocky-road.com/nissan-pathfinder-lift-kit.htmlselect rear springs, under pricing, HD
  19. Thanks for that, between this and some 4Runner videos on Youtube I now am confident what to do. OME HD (Heavy Duty). These things are THICK!!! I can put my entire weight on them and they don't compress! Depending on how they compare in size to my OEM springs, I might not even need the spacers. Thanks for the info Hawairish!
  20. Are you doing the rear as well? Springs and shocks? I'm getting my HD OME rear springs today to counter the weight of my tire carrier. Already have new and longer Bilstein shocks in there. Was just curious about the removal of the coils. I was hoping to just be able to compress them and remove them. Any thoughts?
  21. Can't say I've ever had any issues with green cans. I fill it up myself. I have 2 green ones and a whole bunch of red ones but nobody ever said anything. Maybe I just live out in the boonies and nobody cares lol
  22. This is actually very reminiscent of another time I got stuck like this lol, just thought of that when I came across my old Tour picture.
