New spark plugs too? Do the wires make that much of a difference? Was always wondering if it was worth changing them as long as they seem to work just fine.

Close up pics of that bumper please

I tried to recover a stuck Silverado this morning that was stuck in a snow drift. My rear wheels again weren't both spinning, leaving me having, having to rock back and forth and try to snap him out. We all know that never works lol. Tow strap was shredded, which I fully expected as it was my crappy old one. No biggie. Got him out in the end but my point is, I need a damn locker!!! I hate seeing my wheels not even try to spin! Stupid LSD. Maybe when my house sells I'll buy a locker. Well not maybe, definitely!!

Is that an XJ bumper Kingman? That looks great! That's exactly what I want!

I have 33's and destroyed my lower air intake box from turning my wheels. What have "those on 32+" done about this issue?

Did you strip your paint that much doing paint correction that now it's all gone or what happened? You could respray a new clear coat. Imperfections would hardly be visible on white.

Replaced inner and outer tie rods as well as lower ball joint. Only driver side today. Will do passenger tomorrow. Reduces steering wheel vibration already.

Those damned tie rods are a pain in the butt. This is what happens when things don't comply lol That sucker was gonna come out dead or alive. It chose to come out dead lol.

Looks like the before pic didn't work so here it is again

Oddly enough my base model didn't come with cabin air filters as seen here: So I grabbed my Dremel, took a risk and cut out the obvious slots where the filters are supposed to be. The guide rails are in there. All worked out. Not I got cabin air filters. Take that Nissan!!

Got new tire rods, inner and outers, new higher flowing air intake filter, new cabin air filters , new fuel filter. Hopefully will tackle some of these this weekend. Put new intake filter in and noticed that the old paper one was wet and the air box was wet inside. This is obviously due to my largely destroyed lower intake box and the tires throwing powder snow like mad. Wondering if duct tape can fix this LOL. Are there any air box mods that delete the lower box? Can it be done? Should it be done?

Castrol synthetic for me too.

Has anything ever come from this? Re-gearing might be of interest to me to free up some lower end torque.

With a little bit of persistence and some help of the good old blow torch I was able to get my drain and filler plugs out at last and finally changed that diff fluid. Now I feel better Had ordered now plugs from Nissan. Cost $19 for both. Not too bad I suppose. The next fluids on my list are power steering, and coolant flush.

I bought them on sale for $175 each. So not bad at all! Looking to get around $700 for my still very new 31's

Slapped on some 33's. Joined a local off-road club.

Now sitting purdy on 33's and NO RUBBING!
-
How did you manage 9" of lift??! How does the 3.3L manage all that rotational mass of the 35's? Looks freakin awesome!!

I'm having a hard time imagining how and Xterra rack will work on a flat roof?!

These (Leopard 2's) are V12 twin turbo diesel, 1500 Hp. None of the above actually. Some got stuck in just too deep of snow for the tracks to have anything to grab as the belly sits on compacted snow. Especially with about 2 meters of deep powder. Don't get me wrong, it's incredible what they get through. But sometimes it's just too much. The one in the picture actually had no snow issues. It's engine just caught on fire and it's fire suppression system went off so it had to be towed back for invest. It probably could have kept driving, but such are the SOPs.

Not about my build, but I just had a long ass day at work today. Went from 4 tanks down to 1 in just 3 hours lol. The snow this year is INSANE. Never saw tanks struggle that much in snow. Looked like floating turrets lol.
