So, today my local jy had a half off sale and i got my hands on a pair of 03 tail lights and wiring for $16 i went to swap them expecting different coloured wires but they were the same just different ends ie different sockets but same colour wires and they meant the same thing so i used bullet plugs if i brake them i can always swap back to original im very happy with our xome took maybe 30 mins to wire and swap Sent from my LG-LS840 using Tapatalk

ok im defiantly going to save up for those as that's a lot simpler than building them ok so now for my other ? on the trailing arms so from jc whitney (only place I found them) they have these ( http://www.jcwhitney.com/dorman-oe-replacement-trailing-arm/p3051378.jcwx?filterid=d1685y1997g23j1 ) so im going to buy both new lower arms at this point as they come with the bushings but for the upper arms it only has one side listed are they inter changeable or do I have to find the passenger side specific one? im going off this right now as I don't have time to go out and look to see if there is a passenger side one ( http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/30961_ypat4_1.jpg )

so the other weekend I went for a trail ride and one of the trails has a ditch that last year I cleared no problem but from the rain and snow melt it has washed out and I came close to hitting my rockers on the ground I think my frame might have touched but just slightly. so I want some rock sliders but since there are no options for premade bolt ons I need some help with materials and stuff like that 1. round or square tubing for actual slider part? 2. what diameter round/ size square tube should I get? 3. how think should it be? 4. is there holes that can be used to bolt them on? 5,should I use flat or round or square for the part that is between the frame and the slider? 6. should I use flat or angle for the part that mounts to the frame? also I have a dent in one of my trailing arms should I replace it with a stock jy one when I replace my rear bushings or should I try and find a aftermarket pair and replace both?

when you did this did you have to make a steering extension? at the moment thats the only thing stopping me from doing a sfd of 2" on mine is that nobody makes a 2" extension and kryofab (i think thats it) only makes i think a 4" and 6" drop all im looking to get is enough space to fit 33s right now im running 32s with 1.5 spacer on the front and rub when full crank so a 1" diff drop and bigger coil spacers would allow me to have the height i need

i have a Le and my 4x4 lever is on the floor not a dial on the dash and the only difference iv noticed between le and se is that most se's are manual while most le's are auto and most les have power everything and leather i went to my local jy looking for parts for my camaro but had to check out the new pathy they had it was a 1997 se and the only difference i seen with out tearing into it is it had: 1 cloth 2 manual trans 3 non wood trim 4 no outside door trim 4 had fender flares
-
i like trails (only spot iv had the pathy) haven't been on rocks yet and i love mud
-
i dont know if mine goes that far up but the spot to the door just started last week so it might soon
-
iv found that the p245 75 16 or the p245 70 15 to work nice as they are close to the same size as a 31 but much narrower the 245 70 15s are hard to find though
-
so i think this is my problem also so what is happing to me though is that when it rains/i wash it my head liner on the passenger side gets soaked just around the right rear corner of the sunroof and by the door on the passenger side

(https://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/nissan-xterra-d22-headers-by-doug-thorley-33l-v6-2000-2001-2002-2003-2004-p-6019.html) thats for the xterra with the 3.3 v6 also dated the same
-
ya that was for the r50 headers this is from the site so (This product is estimated to be in stock on Monday 07 April, 2014.) so the 3.3 v6 frontier headers are in production i was wondering if they would fit r50s i guessing there must be some sort of clearance issue for them to be just for the frontiers even though they are for the same motor
-
so i was looking at rugged rocks.com and found this ( https://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/nissan-frontier-d22-headers-by-doug-thorley-33l-v6-1998-1999-2000-2001-2002-2003-2004-p-6020.html ) that they are selling soon. would they fit a r50 pathy with the 3.3 v6?or would there be clearance issues?' im guessing by looking at the pics we/i/people would have to use universal cats and have a spot for the 2nd o2 sensor to go and would have to figure out the wire length
-
how did you get yours to start with those lines off (idle air and the valve cover pipe thing) if i have ether off mine wont start it will fire and if im on the gas itll start but stall out as soon as i let off the gas and if the idle air one comes unhooked wile idling it shuts down to

The final word on lifting the R50 at a low Cost
thorpe991 replied to fleurys's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
right now i have 1.5" spacers on the front and 1.75" in the rear i am able to fit 32" tires on a 15" rim and i rub at full crank i want to put 33" tires as they are cheaper than 32" tires (more common size than 32") i am thinking off doing a 2" sfd and keep the 1.5 spacers in the front so i would end up with a total of 3.5" of lift. im wondering would 3.5" of lift be enough to fit 33"s (i dont mind rubbing at full crank) and should i get a over all 3.5" spacer for the front or use a 2" spacer and the 1.5" spacer i already have? i have the solid polyurethane ones from a member on here so would i be able to put fleurys spaces on top of the ones i have? (i know when you block lift a older solid axle with leaf springs its bad ju ju to do multiple blocks but not sure about this) last week i tried to fit 33" tires on 16"rims that my buddy has and they fit in the wheel well i just couldent turn more than one rotaion of the steering wheel ( i ripped the mud flap off the driver front fender ) -
on my 97 (3.3) the only stock piping is the tail pipe the rest has been replaced with 2-1/2" but the tail pipe is stock at 1-3/4" i had to put 2 down sizers on the outlet of my muffler because i was dropping from 2-1/2" to 1-3/4" and couldent find one that droped that far so i have a 2-1/2 to 2 than a 2 to 1-3/4 to get my tail pipe to hook up but from my cats to the muffler its 2-1/2" and i used a single in single out because the PO had it replaced and had custom pipe cut and welded to do the y ill get a pic of it today (the y)

if you hit the cats on stuff it can break the comb loose and turn and act as a clogged cat it happened on my camaro but thats cause the catonly sits 2" off the ground (the cat is visible from under the car when looking at the passenger side the actule body sits about 4-5 " off the ground so any speed bumps and im hitting the cat
-
my vg33e has two cats that bolt directly to the exhaust manifolds
-
mine sounds about that but a little bit quieter
